I went to the midnight release of "The Dark Knight" and i wasn't expecting much. IMO, I have not been very impressed with the comic book movies since Spidey 3, and as such, expected this one to be another flop. What I got was a 2 hour 50 min movie that I thought ENDED TOO QUICKLY. This movie was amazing! Right off the bat, I knew this movie was gonna blow me away and it didn't disappoint! The entire movie is one giant mindf*** after another. Every time I thought I knew what was gonna happen, it did not the opposite, but something else entirely! I give this movie a humble 6 stars out of 5 and I highly recommend this movie to all people!
Heh, whatever you say. I'm not gonna knock you for your opinion. Mine is that it was slightly less than truly epic, but definitely one of the best films of 2008.
I finally saw it tonight! I agree with Meatball here, it's epic! omg. It was so good. I'm so glad it wasn't spoiled for me. It was so worth the 11 bucks to go see it. It just blows Batman Begins away a million miles.
@Meat: I wouldn't recommend it to all people. I can't see younger kids enjoying this movie rather than getting scared to ****.
@Alacar: You're wrong. This movie IS epic. Without a doubt the best superhero movie I've ever seen and the best movie I've seen all year. Will always be one of my favorites. The new dark joker is absolutely brilliant, and the opening sequence is a masterpiece in itself.
I know. I hate it when movies get spoiled. Thats why I didnt say my fav part cause though it doesnt ruin the entire movie, it ruins that part of the movie. Its the reason i never went to / saw I Am Legend. Some chick completely ruined the entire movie with one sentence.
I'm gonna try to see it this weekend. I've been avoiding spoilers like the plague cause I don't want to get this ruined for me. It's too good to be spoiled. Maybe today or tomorrow I might get to see it.
