This entry is intended to express my opinion on a few current issues. This thing has kind of replaced the function my old clan (Mayhem for life), except there's less discussion and more ranting, which is kinds of good for my ego. :D

Thank GOD I'm too broke to afford a 360. Now that they're coming out with the coolest-looking console in forever, I get to save up to get that one instead of the boring white or similarly nifty black Elite.
I feel bad for the people who shelled out their cash over the years for the boring normal models. The best part about this thing is that I get to rub it in everyone's face.

What the ****. I mean really. He basically was like, "Naw, that's no good. The guy's my friend! Why should he have to do 'hard' time?" I use the word "hard" tentatively, because he'd be going to white-collar federal prison where he'd probably have time to learn how to row a goddamn boat. It's not actually federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison like they say in Office Space.

How is President Bush not in jail? If you ask me, the man's a criminal. He's violated his oath to uphold the Constitution, involved us in a war that's already echoing Vietnam in far too many capacities, failed to manage our treasury properly, violated our privacy as citizens in like a thousand different ways and authorized others to do the same, and has basically just been terrible in every way. More ambiguously awful people are jailed every day. Think about it.

I didn't like these guys until I heard one of their other songs on Music Choice today. I fracking despise "Lips of an Angel" in so many ways, but the song I heard today wasn't bad. Apparently their album was "engineered" (whatever that means) by a guy from Aerosmith, which makes so much sense. They're actually not terrible, but their song was over-commercialized and over-hyped. The media was like, "Hey, a rock song that's actually not that great! Let's absolutely wreck its value by bastardizing it as much as possible!" It's exactly what happened with Hoobastank in 2004 with "The Reason." When that song first aired, it was on rock radio, and I really liked it. Then the media caught on and plastered it ******* everywhere that summer. It was such a shame. Hoobastank are actually good, and a lot of fun to listen to. I bought the album that had "The Reason" on it, and it was all kinds of fun until that song went huge. I was so pissed.
Anyway, the same thing happened with Hinder, I think. They had a decent song until it went huge and the media raped it with a street lamp. I'm gonna check out the rest of their stuff later.

Speaking of which, I have a huge list of artists I need to check out. I'll probably have to get tracks from... you know what I can't talk about that on here. I just have these listed arbitrarily, by the way.

Topic: TENTH EDITION

Tenth Edition is balls. You heard it here first. I was right about every single card in Future Sight that I commented on (being pessimistic about Pact of Negation and Bitter Ordeal comes to mind), and I'm going to continue being hopelessly pessimistic about Magic cards.

Tenth fails to balance Constructed. It removes several key support cards for different decks, replacing them with terrible alternatives. Mogg Fanatic is all good, but to gain him we lose both Savannah Lions and Kird Ape. We lose Persecute, a central card for black control, for what, Agonizing Memories? And we lose Phyrexian Arena for Graveborn Muse. What a great exchange! >_<

Troll Ascetic is very good. Quirion Dryad is awesome. Green is extremely good right now. I never thought that would happen.

But you know what's better? Blue. And yeah, maybe that's always been the case, but I've always been miserable with blue. And now it's definitely the best color in Standard. There is no doubt in my mind. I hate that.
