I suppose I should put my list up considering I have been running it for three weeks now and it has taken 1st place in FNM the last two of which weeks both nights in 40+ man FNMs.
-1 Sphinx's Revelation it hasn't been half bad but I have some decent interaction with creatures in the list and while sometimes I like seeing the revelation I wanted to move instead to having another mainboard threat.
+1 Drogskol Reaver this still gives card draw and lifegain. There are pros and cons to running this instead of sphinx but the way I look at it they are hitting about the same time and against the midrange decks the reavers have been huge for me.
SIDEBOARD:
-1 High Priest of Penance I love him against aggro but when it gets to some of the midrange decks and hexproof and a few others I have wanted to have more removal. He is really really good in some of the fast aggro matches but I feel like cutting him by one wont hurt me much there.
+1 Devour Flesh this has been better than the Priest in a wider variety of games for me. There are times where decks have been creature light but use hexproof or flying threats so the flesh gives me an out to remove them. Also, aggro decks with removal that is not burn hurt the Priest occasionally.
-4 Bloodline Keeper I really like these guys and they did good work for me against some of the huge value midrange decks. But the problem was that they were a little narrow for how many slots they used up. I instead moved another Reaver to the mainboard which help against the same lists. I also found the Keepers less effective if I wasnt running a whole set of them so I am moving to another option that has a better setup with lower counts.
-1 Drogskol Reaver I moved another into the mainboard and I just dont see much for situations where I would run 4 of these in the list.
+2 Aetherling these guys give me a good threat against control heavy lists. These guys are really really hard to remove making them cool to play against control heavy lists.
+3 Intrepid Hero these guys have a great setup against some of the midrange decks. I like that they come in early and can just take out a lot of their threats. This is a move from the vampires as they would actually win me games but these guys come in faster and just beat them up without forcing me into sort of an all or nothing value where I am forced to overcommit a little to the board.
SB
-2 Negate generally speaking this was to fight against opponents counterspells. My issue was that with only two I just couldnt fight against someone mainboarding + sideboarding and using snapcasters. Instead I decided bumping my threats + cavern would be a better move.
+1 Cavern of Souls it gives me a stronger match against counterspells.
+1 Drogskol Reaver there are a lot of matches against grindy card advantage control / midrange matches where extra threat density is really useful. Also, a lot of the decks where Obzedat is less stellar, this guy picks up the pace so I can always swap them if need be.
