Made a few changes. I decided against the 3rd Sword of War and Peace as I dont think it is something I want to draw 2 of and it isnt gamebreaking enough that I need it every game.
A few changes I made to my list since last time:
-1 Dismember I love dismember in this list so this was a hard cut for me but I realized that it can be a problem when I opening handed 2 of them against RDW... I died to straight burn because I was forced to answer 2 of his creatures with this bringing me down 8 life. I dont know if I am just going to go with the 3 mainboard or if I will side the 4th. I will figure it out when I test a little more at 3 main.
+1 Green Sun's Zenith this is sort of like our card draw. It gives us consistency in the deck and it is very important. I think it is well worth paying 1 extra to go tool-boxing through the deck for what we want.
-1 Thrun, the Last Troll I moved him to the sideboard for the vs control matchup. I don't really need him all that often as he is only solid against the agro list. Also being legendary can be problematic although at 2x it doesn't happen that often.
+1 Daybreak Ranger give delver decks a problem. It also deals with those pesky Moorland Haunt tokens. This is a bit more experimental for me but I think it is worth testing.
I moved the Sideboard around a little as well. Some of the changes there were based around changes to the mainboard.
I have been thinking a bit more and some things that I sort of want to try out in this list being:
+1 Huntmaster of the Fells in the mainboard. I think it is important to have him as an option against agro decks for my GSZ in game 1. The lifegain, extra bodies, and control are all amazing on him and while I have my concerns about him costing red I think putting a single copy in mainboard might be worthwhile.
-1 Vorapede mainboard. I like these guys but being at 5 mana does feel a little slow. This is a hard call because I cant even tell you how many times I have won games off the back of these guys already. Their built in trample and undying are huge and it is so funny how often the vigilance is backbreaking on them.
+1 Sword of War and Peace the swords have been fairly huge for me so far. They give me evasion through white which has been a big issue due to their new love for tokens. The lifegain against red is also really backbreaking.
-1 Dismember minaboard. I really like dismember but I have had a few hands now where I get flooded with these buggers. They are great removal but I think I might push one of them to my sideboard as there are some games where I really need them and some games where they just suck. I played a game vs RDW last night and I died to their burn because I lost 8 life to my own dismembers.
It sort of sucks though as I currently only own 2 swords so I will have to go out of my way to pick up another. Not a huge deal but sort of a pain in the ass as I thought I was good owning 2 of each sword...
