BUG Pod

Messing around with a few ideas for BUG pod post rotation. B/G pod has been doing pretty well before the rotation, I just think a better land base is what was needed to allow us to get into the options that are Ponder and clones.

4 Hinterland Harbor
4 Woodland Cemetry
4 Darkslick Shore
2 Swamp
2 Island
7 Forest

I'm desperate to fit in a buried ruins or 2, but the base is tricky as it is...Darkslick could be Drowned Catacomb, but 4 lands to turn it on is low odds, whereas the potential for an early ponder is a bit more valuable.

4 Birds of Paradise
2 Llanowar Elf
4 Ponder

Bit of searching, upping of potential for a turn 2 pod under counters. If control is real post rotation, 3 elves becomes likely.

1 Spellskite
2 Phantasmal Image
2 Viridian Emissary
1 Perilous Myr

Myr to hose aggro a bit, Emissary is a nice bit of land fixing. Wouldn't mind a 3rd copy, but it's tricky to fix! 61 cards ala Ruel's Bant Pod or send Kite to the board?

2 Phyrexian Rager
1 Sylvok Replica
1 Glissa, the traitor

Glissa has so much synergy and is unbeatable in combat. Rager is more card advantage, again I think 3 would be very handy!!

2 Phyrexian Rager
1 Sylvok Replica
1 Glissa, the traitor

4 Birthing Pod
2 Phyrexian Metamorph
1 Solemn Simulacrum
1 Entomber Exarch
1 Skinrender

3 Acidic Slime
1 Hollowhenge Scavenger

Midrange utility, does plenty to get value and interfere with their plans.

1 Wurmcoil Engine
1 Massacre Wurm
1 Brutalizer Exarch

1 Sheoldred, whispering one

Finishers. Brutalizer is fantastic utility if we're not ready to finish, both the wurms are incredibly powerful.

So to summarise the deck:

Sideboard is non-existent currently, but Frost Titan, Thrun, Skinrender, Extra Perilous Myr, Spellskite are all up for debate, plus we could get access to plenty of utility spells
