I still ask myself if I will be able to return to the x-ray program down the road. This is how I am going to return to the x-ray program. First I need to apply and start working at the hospital again as a patient transporter so I can have loads of experience to interact with patients. After I do that for about a year or so I am planning on going back to the x-ray program either starting over or starting what I left off and this time finish with the x-ray program. I am pretty sure I will be able to gain the confidence needed after working as a patient transporter to finish the program. This is just a matter of time and just a draw back for me but I will continue moving forward. At worse case I might have to go back to my home town in washington state to finish up my x-ray education over there but no biggie. We will see what the future holds for me. Thank you all for reading and see you all later! *hugs and blows kisses to everyone*
I really hope you can find your place and achieve what you want and need, Kevin. Being a transporter is a pretty good job, I hear, and I think you'd do great. I'm cheering for you, and I hope you have all the luck in the world.
I do hope that you get the chance to do this. It sounds like a good plan, not only to get confidence and relationships with patients, but also to establish a reputation within the hospital system. I'll be rooting for you, Cecilia.
