recently wizards of the coast had released a fifteen card booster pack of all the alara block with all foils. I purchased one of these and the let down was large. The packs are cool if you pull an elspeth of nicol bolas or some other cool rare but besides that I dont think its really worth it. Also realize that the entire pack is of the block so pulling anything really cool is extremely hard considering that its like five cards from three different packs hoping for something cool but in the end those numbers aren't that even considering that in mine I got mostly conflux. Anyway unless you want a foil salvage slasher or a foil dreadwing then this pack deffinetly isnt for you. But if you were able to spend lots of money on making a draft on these with your friends in might be entertaning. Overall, this pack wasn't the best thing but it was still sorta fun. I also heard that they were gonna do this whenever a block in the future finishes so it will be really awesome to get cool foils from the zendikar block ( but knowing my luck I'll probably pull a foil lavaball trap or something else lame considering my terriable luck... sigh )
I got a foil Marsh Flats and my friend got a foil Verdant Catacombs without shiny boosters.
I agree, drafting a few of these would be cool, but I don't think it's worth it to buy just single boosters, unless you pull a Pulse, planeswalker or something of equal value.
