Never in my whole life
I gazed at my hand for five minutes examining it. The small cracks and jointes of my boney hand looked like it was off the x-files. This then made me wonder what the average human is.
The average human is an odd concept because of evolution. people change due to different expericence. So what humanis average. We all think differently. We are all so different that we are nearly alien to one another. THis is my hypothosis why wwars are startted.
Examine the back of your hand. How alien does it look to you.
You win.
Anyway:
We start wars because we're different? Ok. I prefer to think that we start wars because we're scared to admit that we're all the same. No-one wants to have to abandon the secret belief we all hold that we're better than the average person, or accept the unimaginable truth that there are 6 billion people just like them.
So we find differences, or make them up. Which brings us back to your scar: your scar is not a real point of difference between you and anyone else. It's superficial, and it's these superficial differences that we latch on to because, like everyone else, we want to be different.
