Feb 3, 2014bubskees0708 posted a message on Launch Giveaway!Doubling Season has got to be it. I've always been a Token Swarm Timmy and from the first time it was spoiled in 2004 I've always wanted one. Ravnica Saprolings are among the best iterations of tokens, little green crystals with tiny vines for appendages. Not being content with just shelling out $25 for one, I waited many, many moons to finally trade for one this year. I waited 8 years and now it sits among my rare collection in a hard-case sleeve.Posted in: Announcements

While Sidisi is better at milling myself, she lacks the late-game utility of Karador and his recursion, and so I am at a loss as to what to do with the increased milling capacity but reduced steady recursion that Karador offers.
What are some good cards/strategies/tactics that sync better with Sidisi's style of necromancy? Blue necro is more creature based than white's all-around permanent recursion, meaning that I'll have a harder time recurring the non-creature cards that I self-mill as well.
While Restock's ability is on the stack, in which zone does that physical card reside; such that I could cast another spell that target's Restock, so that Restock is not exiled?
"Restock" which
has an exile clause upon use,
such that they are cast and not
exiled?
Scenario: Player "Richard Smiles" has a Krosan Reclamation.
He casts [card]Krosan
Reclamation[/card] from his hand to shuffle two cards (K1, K2) from his graveyard into his library. He then activates it's flashback ability to "reclaim" a third card (K3) and KR itself.
Does this result in KR staying in the library? Or is the state-based clause of "Exile This Card." unavoidable and even though KR is in the library it still exiles?
My understanding is that KR 's flashback ability goes on the stack targeting itself and another card, such that KR and K3 [the physical cards] are shuffled into my library, but then as a state based action of KR's "flashback", from somewhere in my library KR is then exiled.
I.e
How do I manipulate the stack such that when "Exile 'Restock'." clauses are placed upon it, the card to which 'Restock' refers to is not actually exiled, but remains safe in my hand, graveyard, library, etc.?
And so I was wondering recently, do the 5 colors of mana preside over single planes equally (i.e. A plane can only exist if the WUBRG supplies these 5 qualities equally, w/ 1 quality per color)? Or is there a primary/principle color that gives rise to the other 4?
And if the five colors of mana rule equally, could each be said to have one property in relation to that single plane?
And if so, what would those 5 properties be?

GW deck based on cheap Human Knights and Angel Tribals with lots of anthem type cards.
The purpose of the deck is to basically have a few creatures which through various means of hexproof and resurrection are impossible to kill.
My only worry is that I may not have enough draw or removal.
I would also like to know which cards I should cut like maybe Fleecemane Lion and Knight of the Holy Nimbus.
I also can't decide between hymn of rebirth which can grab my opponents creatures, and Miraculous Recovery which is an instant and also gives a +1/+1 counter.
I want the green for Maro, Masumaro, First to Live, Storm Seeker, Edric, Spymaster of Trest Overbeing of Myth, and mana fixing.
Is this even viable? Or will the fact that my opponents have so much access to their cards that they will always collectively have an answer render this deck unusable? I guess I can always throw in a lot of GU hexproof?
Prophet and Vedalken Orrery are definitely going in now. Totally forgot about the Orrery.
What additional flash cards would be helpful that aren't Teferi? I ust don't feel like paying for a target on my head. And what about things like Asceticism? Along with Archetype of Endurance?
Edit: In karador, none of those work.
Use Sadistic Sacrament, Bitter Ordeal, or Praetor's Grasp. Shutdown his combo before he even starts it. Sudden Death would also work.

I own most of these cards, which is cool, because if I were to build this deck from scratch I'd pick those cards, I'm not picking them just because I own them.
Right now the deck count is at 56 non-lands. So I have room for a couple more cards and am having trouble choosing specifically which cards for which functions.
Training Grounds works with my commander Intet, mindshrieker, and Djinn of Wishes. Are those three cards (one of which is my commander, upon which her ability is heavily relied) enough justification for Training Grounds include? What if I include a Nivix Guildmage, which I am thinking about putting in.
What aboutPrescient Chimera? Terastodon? Are Brainstorm and Plaxmanta too narrow/too one-timey to use?
If i run 9ish sorceries, is Hypersonic Dragon worth it?
What destruction cards do I use? Polis Crusher? Trygon Predator? Do I buy a decimate? Hull Breach?
Fires of Yavimaya or Fervor? In addition to Anger, which needs to be in any red deck.
What kind of multicolor goodstuff do I include?
And what about large cards? I get free things, I might as well have expensive stuff to fire off Riddle of Bacon and Blast of Genius. Simic Sky Swallower or Inkwell Leviathan? I am considering all these large CMC cards:
Do I add something like Seedborn Muse or Prophet of Kruphix?
Do I have enough TopDeck manipulation?
I also run a RBU Jeleva spellslinging deck, so that deck focuses more on that. This deck focuses on free stuff, large spells, and top deck manipulation. I like cards like Maelstrom Djinn and Deep-Sea Kraken because of their alternate costs, which allows me to play them differently in the early game, but also discard them to things like Blast of Genius. Which are the best cards for that? I'm open to switching most of the cards that are in the decklist if the switch provides for overall synergy. Things like cerebral vortex are very interesting for me, but maybe stuff like that fits better in the Jeleva deck. Should I switch Jace's Mindeseeker and Diluvian Primordial and Chancellor of the Spires to my Jeleva deck?
Which leads me to Precursor Golem. Is this playable? First you get 3 3/3's for 5, which is good, but if I choose to copy it with say, Fated Infatuation, I get another Precursor and another two 3/3's, plus ANOTHER TWO 3/3's. One Precursor Golem card and a copy spell give you 8 creatures.
The drawback is that anyone can lightning bolt or unsummon all of them. Essentially if someone targets them for destruction, they're done. Is this card even worth the slot?
