I'm calling it right now... this will be the last FtV. With the lackluster FtV: Annihilation last year it seems only fitting to cap off the series with the "other" popular tribe in relation to the first FtV. That being said, my hope is Iona and Linvala are included as they seriously need a reprint. Given recent FtV history it will only be one of them though and my guess would be Iona.
Why is Horsemanship not everyone's first guess? Seriously, let the fetchland thing go. WotC will reprint them all in good time. If banding want such a confusing mechanic it would also be a good guess. Horsemanship and banding would go great with the overall nomad theme (not the dragon theme).
Could someone post a picture of the puzzle poster (or a link to it) for launch day this Friday? I cannot seem to find it anywhere though people claim to have seen it. I'm not looking for the solution just the image.
Not completely related, but has anyone seen the puzzle poster for launch day? I've been looking but can't seem to find it posted anywhere. I'm pretty sure the puzzle had been solved by this point for both Theros and Born of the Gods.
It is likely that what Ken is working on is his sketch cards to go with The Gathering book due in September. I don't see Kird Ape coming back in anything anytime soon.

It is a vicious, yet predictable cycle isn't it? WotC never promised anything crazy in this set and is delivering everything they did promise to the letter. It is the rabid fan base that made an ass out of itself by assuming this set was going to be the next best thing to the Power 9 because of availability. There is nothing jaw dropping in that list that I don't already own so I will pass on it so a more "avid" Commander player can get one.

I agree wholeheartedly. Does it not fit the description of "for avid Commander players"? Seriously though, based on the list of cards (even as foils) is it even close to the MSRP? This might collect more dust than FtV: Legends.
sadly no, most of the cards are from the planechace decks or commader decks but in foil version. because a lot of people wanted them like that
ROFL!!! I can do nothing but laugh. 200 pages of *****ing and whining about a limited set of cards that is barely worth its MSRP. Hope you enjoyed preordering it for $400 bucks suckers.
200 pages of controversy over a product means the product is bad. If the product were decent, there wouldn't be so much controversy. End of story.
See I disagree. This whole thread should be deleted as it is a waste of server space. The tiresome arguments over cost/distribution is pointless. This is a decision Wizards of the Coast has made. No one held a gun to their head and no one is forcing anyone to buy the product. If the product fails to sell Wizards will likely not do something like this again. If you don't like this product or any aspect of it, don't buy it. That seemed to work pretty well for FtV: Legends. Do I have one being held for me? Yes. Will I buy it? It depends what is in the set. If it is a bunch of jank not supporting the asking price I will pass and give someone else the opportunity. I wish people didn't feel they absolutely needed to buy this given only 3 cards have been spoiled. There is nothing new in here people. It's all reprints with some new art. Personally I hope all the commanders from last year are reprinted in this so I can laugh at all the conflict it caused. I realize this is unlikely, but there will be no gold bars in here. There will be no Force of Will or Mana Drain or Imperial Seal. Accept this fact and get over it. If you still want the middle range cards this set has then you are an avid player that will do what is necessary to acquire the set. Any one else buying this will be doing so purely for speculative reasons. The truth hurts some times.
