Oh, sorry, I was referring to SuperGLS's deck with the second paragraph, as he is running much more control and very few creatures.

True, that makes sense, I guess I just run into different decks then you, Just the other day I played an artifact deck running heartless summoning. a very close close loss on my part due to misunderstanding priority.

Runechanter's pike, snapcaster and forbidden alchemy are all good cards. and could make for a nice blend between a control/pump deck. Though I still feel that runechanter's pike is kind of slow, while livewire lash hits the moment the creature is targeted, you need to wait till you can attack for runechanter's pike to be useful. I agree, and would totally consider changing my deck to add them... I just don't have money for that many snapcasters though, lol. snapcaster and forbidden alchemy would work together very well in in an infect deck, since the only thing you'll be fishing for is lands/creatures. and then you can just flashback the pump/counterspells

At Atumn Zephyr -- I think the point they are trying to make is about card advantage. if your creature dies then both spectral flight and the creature go to the graveyard, thus you're losing two cards. cobbled wings and darksteel axe however would just be able to quickly transfer to the next person. it's especially for times when i actually have to fight their creatures that I run Ichorclaw Myr in my deck. Perhaps you should consider replacing 2 of your necropedes with that. also dark steel axe and piston sledge are both valid turn 3 playables it's just if the only creature you start off with is an inkmoth, (which has happened more often then not for me) you'll only get one swing with the piston sledge, while you can keep re-equipping the darksteel axe. Although I'm not running either one of them in my deck as I prefer to use the green pump cards instead. The Gitaxian probe also seems, out of place, well at least having 4 of them. Rather then running them, I just run more pump cards.

Though I can't say I like your sideboard very much, a lot of it is higher costing cards, and if the game goes on that long then you're most likely losing. Rather then naturalize run viridian corrupters, one more green mana for a 2/2 infect that does the same thing. Get rid of viral drake, there are much faster cards out there. You shouldn't be preparing for a long game, you should be making your game as fast as possible. Same with bramblecrush, I was told some very good advice earlier which was, don't try to interfere with their game, just keep them from interfering with yours. So maindecking mana leak's is a must. Corrupted Conscience... is a good card, but only when you're top decking in my opinion.

and SuperGLS that is a very unique build. I don't think i've ever even heard of control infect, but I also think you're not running enough creatures. I've seen snapcaster combo very well with forbidden alchemy so you might want to try running that in your deck. but yes, Blue/Black does seem like the thing for you as green only has ranger's guile I think, for protection. Tell me how it goes at your next fnm.

Lordgufi, I'd drop the untamed might, the other pump cards you have do a much better job.

I know you said you don't necessarily want to finish fast but from what i've learned about infect decks is that it's a race. You want to get out the infect damage asap before your opponent can start putting down creatures. If you're on a budget of 30 dollars I'd recommend at least one Inkmoth Nexus, Livewire Lash is a must. Titanic growth and Mutagenic Growth are great cards too. Ichorclaw Myr is one of the best infect creatures.

Only reason I say this is because I've noticed that aside from a few rare big creatures like skythiryx most infect creatures cost more mana and do less damage. so being pumped up helps. Also if you're willing to take your time then Contagion Clasp is another good card.

To make room for some of these cards I'd take out the overrun, the blight mamba, the flesh eater imp, one skythiryx, the putrefax and possibly the septic rats.

I run mill deck that doesn't have any fatal spells other then 1 Jace the Mind Sculptor. I've got a playset of guard gomozoa as my main defense creature. then, i'm also running mind funerals as well. While i don't win many games with it. i do enjoy playing it. One thing I don't get though, how is leyline/helm an effective combo? aren't you severly limited by how much mana you have available?

Dismember is a great card, definitely sideboard material. so is celestial purge and geth's verdict. Tribute to hunger I don't like so much as it costs 3 mana cast. You definitely don't want black sun zenith as it will most likely kill your tokens along with their creatures. the spot removal is much better idea. In my opinion. despise, and divine offering don't really have a place in this deck. Distress, Sure if they do have board sweepers. In cases like that, I always like to keep at least one creature creating card in my hand. Revoke existence or leonin relic-warder not both. and no need for silverchase fox if you're having one of those cards. Timely reinforcements is good when you're being outpaced, but considering that you're trying to spawn lots of tokens, you really shouldn't ever have to play it. Not saying don't sideboard it, but again, at most as a 2 of. and unburial rites should be fine, it's high mana cost but I can't see any reason not to include it.

so in summary your sideboard based on your list should look like this

    2 dismember
    2 celestial purge
    2 geth's verdict
    2 distress
    3 leonin relic-warder/revoke existence
    2 timely reinforcements
    2 unburial rites

Here is a white weenie deck i've been thinking of putting together once my infect deck is no longer standard. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest I briefly went through this thread and put together something that looked nice. No sideboard as of yet. feel free to tear it apart. I'm thinking of replacing porcelain legionnaire with blade splicer not sure though.

I haven't played a rdw with this yet but I can see how they would be a problem. Turn to frog is definitely a fun card but I don't know what I could remove to make room for it. Perhaps if I ran 3 of's instead of four I can have a greater variety of cards. Part of the reason I'm running noxious revival is that I almost always have a good use for it. Ex. someone ancient grudges or doomblades my only creature/whip

Elite Inquisitor or grand abolisher should be in here, I personally don't like accorder paladin because he's a 3/1 and so can die to a 1/1 creatures. Same reason for elite vanguard but that's a 1 drop for a 2/1 so it can trade with higher level creatures. But yes, considering how populare vampires, werewolves, zombies are. Also grand abolisher keeps them from casting instants during your turn which shuts down counter spells and slows RDW.

Ohhhkay, Sorry i was misunderstanding the difference between the rack and megrim since both work by making the opponent lose life, but only one makes them want to keep cards in their hand. Looking at it that way. But that's cool, the deck looks good. As for dredge, I've found that if you use surgical extraction/extirpate to get rid of some of the key creatures like necromeba (Don't know if I spelled that right) and Ichorid then it works well to just shut down their deck. Then again, I've only had experience playing against one dredge deck so maybe i'm wrong.

Okay, I replaced the autumn's veil and the swift run boots with 4 apostle's blessing. and took the rot wolf's out to make room for the 4 autumn's blessing. I'm thinking of taking 1 mirran mettle and 1 ranger's guile out to put in 2 unnatural predation so that can trample over the blockers after pumping up the creatures. what do you guys think?
