I don't see him getting much play anytime soon. I was hoping they would unban something to let Jund back into contention (BBE?) and he'd see more play.
Drafted a pretty bonkers Mardu / Warriors deck featuring mardu ascendancy. It was a dream limited deck. Lost R2 to Citadel Siege... that card is STUPID. I went full tilt after losing.
I would only play Bloodsoaked Champion in an extra aggressive build. Through my testing with my current list, Mogg War Marshal may be the star of the deck. Doubling as a lightning helix when needed to, makes blockers when needs to, and gives you a lot of fuel to feed to Cartel Aristocrat or Butcher of the Horde whenever needed to. He works especially well with Rally the Ancestors, netting you a large amount of drain fodder instantly
This is the current list I'm using, and I can say for certain that I am not missing lightning bolt at all
Anyone have any ideas as to what to swap out Tidehollow for? It feels pretty lackluster in my matchups I've played. Do I add more removal, some discard, or another creature?
This is what I'm running currently - the 2 drop is a bit heavy and I really like the flexibility of 3 drop spot between Finks/Souls/Sin Collector/Mindcensor/Brimstone Volley, etc.
Unfortunately, we need that many spells. The only thing I've been wondering about cutting is Triton / Defiant Strike for maybe 2 Treasure Cruise and maybe Stratus Walk / Aerial Formation main. Thoughtseize is Brutal, but so is going late game. lol. Win fast or go home
I've been testing a very simple list. I normally mulligan to 5 or 6, but most typically only need 1 land, 1 creature, and the rest is gravy. I've been very tempted to splash red, but the mana base needs to be consistent and can't miss a beat -- so it looks like american heroes has to wait until they reprint mesas and tarns
Dual deck was my way of sarcastically saying that Wizards IS going to find some way to reprint it and at the rate they're going they must just get a little bit crazy with it. Thanks for the response, though
I want to obtain this card, four of them. I want to play him in Modern and I have no problem making the investment... if it is indeed an investment. What is the speculation on a second reprint via MM2 or some bogus dual deck? I feel like Wizards is going to find a way to get his value down because he's just a staple in so many modern decks.
/e Karn is MM15 foil

Obviously it's a modern 'staple' in Tron, but can it actually hold that value outside of standard? It's debatable. My gut says to sell.

I own the Bobs.... he's so... stuck.
that card is STUPID.I went full tilt after losing.4 LOTV for 325?
Why aren't people taking this deck the human/falkenrath way? I like it much more.
I'd cut Tidehollow, definitey. Skirsdag does work.
