I looked through the forum and there wasn't anything mentioned about Wizard's "Gift with Purchase Weekend" promo. Found out about it on their twitter feed.
Starting June 12 - 14th, visit any participating locations and purchase $15 or more in Wizards of the Coast product for your choice of one of the following gifts:
Magic: The Gathering Half Decks (2 per person)
D&D Miniatures: Demonweb Booster Pack
Star Wars Miniatures: The Clone Wars starter set
The Orc King: D&D Hardcover novel
Any idea what those Half Decks are? It looks like there's one half deck per color.
Last batch... I didn't bother to capture the textless creature artworks, tombstalker, magus of the future, venser, oriss and korlash since we have them already.
Here's is a snapshot of the cards from the banner ad.
Speaking of Undying Rage, I'm kinda disappointed that the artwork for Radha, the key character of this set, isn't used as a legend herself but on a lousy aura.
Well, Serra Avenger and Urza's Factory, both of which are portrait orientated artwork are now the new Champs promo cards. Urza's Factory is the participation promo and Serra Avenger is for the winner. This might explain why they are painted in a vertical layout.
Also revealed is the hi-res of the 2007 Pro Tour participation card, Eternal Dragon, and it's foiled as well.

In more exciting news, a limited offering of the 2007 Pro Tour participation card will be made available at Pro Tour-Kobe, which starts October 20. A limited batch of the cards will be available, so if you are headed to Kobe, be sure to get a card while supplies last.
Been searching the thread concerning Brooding Saurian and Control Magic but couldn't find anything similar, so here's my question.
Control Magic is attached to my Crypt Champion and gains control of it. On my turn, I play Brooding Saurian. What happens to my Crypt Champion? Do I gain control of it permanently or does it constantly flip sides?
Instead of having the regular marsh and bogs for swamps, what if the swamps are the remains of the phyrexian invaders. It's their ships and these things just crash into the earth, and the swamps are wherever they make them. Because the rest of the necro-tech, bio-organic mess just rots away and makes these black ichord puddles of phyrexian slews, and if you walk through it, and if you live in that area, as seen in some of the artwork your eyes turns black, and starts to weep the black tears. It's not an accident that they looks like the mask of yawgsmoth. It's like the last phyrexian dig that you live in that environment and you will start to rot away. You start to gain power from it, but it consumes you.
Garruk got his helmet from the sheriff that killed his father as depicted in Chapter 3 of his storyline.
