So I picked up Titan Shift recently and am looking for resources on sideboarding against the meta game. Does anyone here have a guide they can post up for it or can they point me in the right direction? This deck is great and I want to learn how to play it across the board.
I like this list, but I feel like I want to fit either 1 or 2 Yaheeni's Expertise in the sideboard and maybe take out the Aetherflux and Paradoxical Outcome for other things. I went through a bunch of iterations before settling on this one and it's been playing the best for me.
Hi everyone, I've been registered here for a really long time. I quit Magic in 2007-2008 and am getting back into the game. I remember MTGsalvation being one of the best places on the net for information. I'm casually playing standard with a $50 budget and getting into competitive EDH. I'm currently playing The Mimeoplasm for EDH and The Great Aurora for Standard. If you've read this far, thanks for that.
came back from IPL faceoff last night. It was very poorly constructed. The place they chose was very old and the set up seemed very unprofessional. There was no space made for booths of soundproof places for the players to play in so they could pretty hear everything the casters were saying. Sure they were required to hear headphones but they were right next to the casters/some of the speakers and it was amplified. I'm just happy I got some of TSM to sign my thrun. lol
The headphones the teams were wearing are air tight so outside sound couldn't enter them.
Here is Zyra jungling with a heavy leash at blue and she just seems to demolish the jungle after that with only boots.
I wonder if Zyra can be the first AP Carry Jungler since Fiddlesticks. She has speed, CC, and quasi sustain in her plants taking most of the damage. The only thing that would concern me is that she is susceptible to having blue stolen and invaded, but that is about par for the course with several other junglers as well, so I don't see it as a deathknell.
With the current state of the forest, Zyra and any other carry jungler aren't good choices. CC junglers are all the rage right now, and while Zyra has a little CC in her, she doesn't bring to the table the same kind of power a Nautilus or a Maokai brings to the table.
Stick her in the mid lane, where she's supposed to be.
I've beaten Diablo 3 on Inferno with the Witch Doctor and Barbarian.
I'm sitting on 800M gold.
I hate Diablo 3. It's not fun. It's not entertaining. It's a chore. For those who never had experience with the franchise (I didn't) I had fun until I started on Inferno. Then the game became intolerably hard (I beat the game pre-Inferno nerf). After the nerf, the game is easier, but not to the point where anyone can complete the acts. If you don't get lucky or play the auction house, there's absolutely no way you'll beat the game.
Having gone through every major phone OS, there are a couple of things I look for:
Ease of use (Windows Phone 7.5 and iOS 5 take the cake)
Battery life (Android OS and Windows Phone 7.5 take the cake)
Call quality (Android takes the cake)
App market (No contest, iOS)
If you're looking to do more with your phone then just play games and text, go for Android. If you're looking for ease of use and don't care about apps, get a Windows Phone. If you want apps and to join the millions of other users, get an iPhone.
Currently I own a Galaxy SII-Skyrocket. I'm seriously contemplating upgrading to the Galaxy SIII, but nothing shown so far has made me want to immediately jump ship.
When I jungle with him (which is 90% of the time), there's a way that wins 70% of my games for me (and with my ranked ratio's, I sit at just above 65% win rate with him).
Start:
Boots/Pots
Core:
Merc Treads
Philo Stone
HoG
Glacial Shroud
Team item:
Aegis of the Legion
Sell Philo Stone
End game:
Athene's Unholy Grail
Frozen Heart
Randuin's Omen
Abyssal Scepter/Rylai's Crystal Scepter
Merc Treads
Aegis of the Legion
If you can get to the point where you have 5 of those items (not even finished), you will just be able to stand in their team, do a massive amount of damage, and protect just about everyone.
As Nautilus you don't need the AS/Mres buff that Wit's End gives you, and with the items recent nerfs it's not cost efficient anymore. I've been playing Nautilus since release, and the way I've found of building him has been most effective.
I own a PC and a laptop. I own the laptop for work purposes (it has a DB9 port that lets me interface with older systems). I use both every day.
If I was in the position of only owning a single machine but needing two, I'd get the second machine. I was in that position and the second has proven to be a life saver.
In game related news: I'm surprised more people don't play Katarina as she is really strong and has an OP passive. She is so much more than her ult which people complain all that she is.
If it's blind she has a high chance of being good.
If it's draft and she isn't close to last pick, she will get crushed by counters.
