There are export options (in the options menu) for SQL where you can specify the table names.

I would like to be able to change field names also, I saw the table name editor part.

When I do a sql export, is there anyway to give options for exporting names rather then just table names as everything exports with a 'N' in front.

Out of 160 boxes of AVN i opened I averaged little over 3, I think it was 3.8, the top being 9 REGULAR mythics and the bottom being 2.

Im currently working on something similar, you can use a gatherer pull for most of the data and fill in the rest for promos and such.

I am a (Buy it Now store) seller on ebay, and I ship using a sleeve inside of a top loader, taped on the top, inside of a small envelope and stamped. This costs me $.44, plus a few cents for the supplies. I offer "free" shipping, but this is simply reflected in the price of the item. eBay has a search method where it sorts by "Price + Shipping: Lowest first", and when listing a card that I do not know how to price, I simply price it competitively compared to the combined cost.

When bidding on items, I calculate the most I want to pay, subtract the shipping cost, and bid that amount. The shipping cost is irrelevant.

Realize you auto-loose ANY claim of the receiving party not getting thier cards. This is why you get DC on everything.

What you're not allowed to charge
Insurance: You can't charge a separate fee for insurance, although you still need to make sure your item arrives as described.
Tip: You should incorporate any insurance fees into an item's price or handling cost.
Tariffs, duties, and customs fees: For cross-border transactions, you're not allowed to collect tariffs, duties, or customs fees. (Buyers may be responsible for paying these fees as required by country laws.)
Tip: Remember not to inappropriately classify an item as a gift as a way to avoid certain duties, tariffs, or customs fees. U.S. law prohibits submitting false or misleading customs information.
Related fees: Things like gas, mileage, time spent at a carrier, employee wages, or eBay and PayPal fees should not be added.

Anyhow, that should give some direct info of what I was talking about :).

I know insurance was stopped due to legal issues.
I have seen people try to charge for custom fees before, they do get large.
All of these things are items you deduct as cost of doing business, altough I doubt that many keep non-stores keep accurate of what they are selling and proper profits.

OK, lets just get back to raw value; and I'm not a numbers guy, but a psychological and sociological guy.

Which box, on average will have the best value in tradables; taking into account online price (and shipping.)

    M11, Rise, Zendikar, or Worldwake?

    So far:
M11: Titans, duals, walkers, BSA, Gaea's Revenge, DOJ, Shaman, 1-2 Leyline, Shade.
Zendikar: Fetches, 1 bad PW, Monument, Iona, Cobra, Ob, Instigator, Bloodghast, DOJ, Guide, Ascension (white one,) Oracle,
Worldwake: Persecutor, Avenger, Eye, Jace, Collar, Manlands, Stoneforge Mystic,
Rise: Dust, Emmy, Geddion, Kozilek, Kargan Dragonlord, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Sarkan, Ulamog, Vengvine, Awakening Zone, Consume the Meek, Consuming Vapors, Temple,

    hmm...

M11 seems to have the highest concentration of money cards with titans, planeswalkers, and staples/remakes. Worldwake and Zendikar seem to be tied, one has Jace, Stornforge and Manlands; the other has Fetches, Bloodghast and some decent EDH fodder.

Can someone link me to the Quiet Speculation exelsheets thing?

M11 might have the highest concentration but remember, something like Zend you are almost always going to get 3fetches/box as they are in the rare slot.
This is also what made Z a pofiable set, as we have yet to see expansions with high dollar rares pumping out with most of the money relying on Mythics only.

Ask yourselves these questions? How much are you willing to budget for fixed costs, and how do you plan to recoup that money?

When I first got started back in the day I wanted a website, so naturally I did everything wrong and invested 10k in a rack and some servers, dedicated internet connection and then tried to save by programing it myself. I tell you the truth I still have about $800 of that debt left.

How long ago are we talking? With the amount of shopping carts available it seems silly to try to program thigns yourself. ALso wtf kind of servers did you buy? I have dropped a little over 4 into servers that could easily run this site and a few others. Although bandwidth is significantly cheaper now tho.

  • posted a message on Rook, Metal Carrying Case on a flight?
It may be openedd due to it can look like explosives through an xray. Expect your items to be swabbed, it really will depend on the airport you traverse through as I have never had problems at ORD or IAH although they did ask what I had at IAH. I mostly carry 800ct cardboard boxes filled tho. Metal has nothing to do with it.

  • posted a message on Are there any store store online that will buy commons?
I used to buy bulk but gave up as it was too hard to find people with the required minimum for me (13k/2 5rows). You could try your own local store, as I think going rate it near $6/1k and im pretty sure not incl ship.

IF there were only 8 people and a few drops, its totally possioble to get multiples, as a repair would create unfair pairings. I haveseen it once, but it requires a 1-0 drop i belive
