Naya Slivers seems like the best Silver deck.

Mana + +1/+1 Sliver Lord + Trample or +3/+3 in green.
Hellrider + Haste + Firststrike Silver in red.
Vigilance + Doublestrike + Silver Sorcery in white.

    Gavony/Mutivault

    Descendants Path

    Burn

    Seems good.

Alas, I'm in Massachusetts, so it probably wasn't regional. Might have been internet provider related, my ISP is Comcast.

Odds are a piece of equipment (like a switch or router) malfunctioned along the route to WotC and by fluke didn't die completely so the devices on either side didn't bother finding another route. I've seen similar things happen before so that's my best guess (before on networks in general, not specifically the route to WotC).

    I'm with Cox.

Just a note, I got my tickets back, so I'm all good.

Both were down for me for a half an hour. I had just jumped into a 2-man and lost connection. I tried to reconnect a couple of times, but couldn't. When I tried to run the repair, it said either internet was out (it wasn't) or there was a server down. I checked twitch and saw streamers still playing and tried to check the mothership, but couldn't connect to that either.

I filed for reimbursememt, but I'm not too hopeful.

I'm in AZ btw (to see if its regional).

I watched a match with this deck at work last night. It seemed pretty strong. Then I found this thread and it got me interested enough to look up the article on TCGPlayer. Has this been discussed yet?

I like your style. This seems like a really fun way to win a game! I'm eager to see the deck you come up with.

Is there some list/scale that show what promos you get?

I've noticed several promos (incliding silverblade), most of which are lands. I'm just curious if there is something for a set number or if it rotates weekly or whatever whwnever you buy $40 of product.

May be you can try Master Biomancer instead of Prime Speaker Zegana.
    1. It is an elf (let your Archdruid provide more mana when on board. Besides, with so much elves in the deck, may be you could run 1-2 Cavern of Souls in main);
    2. Master Biomancer itself could also be a huge threat;
    3. Master Biomancer could be another option for Infinite Reflections to enchant.

There are two Biomancers in the deck and two Zegana. I think it works out. Seriously, try Zegana and you'll understand. She's not an endgame. She's an efficient creature that draws me cards.

    why no primal surge?

Because it's bad and not worth a slot (my deck isn't built to be a primal surge deck).

I'm curious as to how well general clone effects (Cackling Counterpart, for example) would work here. On one hand, they give your Biovisionary a better chance to combo and can start pumping out some serious ramp with your Archdruids; on the other, they're pretty much atrocious with evolve most of the time.

Also, why Prime Speaker Zegana? I get that she's an excellent card, but unless you can pump up a big dude with Denizen, She'll never be bigger than a 4/4 draw 4 in normal gameplay, and that's being optimistic. I'd personally look for something a bit more reliably beefy to finish.

It's hard enough to get double blue for Zegana (a 6 drop). I don't think Counterpart is where I want to be with this deck. I know it's popular in the Biovisionary as the only win-con decks, but this isn't that deck.

Zegana isn't a finisher. She's an effective attacker/blocker. Most of the time, she's only a 4/4 or a 5/5, but that still draws me 4-5 cards, which is why I play it. This means that I can find my combo pieces more reliably, even though there's only 3 and 2 of each.

Trust me, even at 4/4, Zegana is a PHENOMENAL card.

If you're playing Biovisionary, there are a couple of core cards that is really needed for the deck. Here are some of what I think are core cards:

Also, you need some sort of Lead the Stampede card. Tracker's Instinct is what I know that is closest to LTS.
The rest should be focused on midrange if the deck won't combo off.

So what your saying is, "you should build a different deck". Let me just get this straight so I don't get a bunch more of these types of comments; this isn't a "Biovisionary Combo Deck". It is an Elf deck that wins alot of its matches with the Biovisionary combo. The card draw + the ability to make my aggro opponents attacks bad or put pressure on my control opponent is what wins the game. Either my opponent sits and waits for something to let his creatures attack, and I win with Biovisionary, or my opponent tries to play control, and I win with the Elf beats (with a chance of comboing off until I side it out).

I understand there are decks that try to populate counterpart tokens, but I feel that's a pretty clunky and unreliable route.

Have you ever though about adding craterhoof in the sidebar for the agro? I think that could help out drastically.

I sold my Craterhoof's on MTGO to help pay for RTR Shock lands. Since then, Reanimator has made a rise, and they're now around 12 tickets. If I had them, I'd fit 1 in the main and 1 in the SB.

    INTRODUCTION

I'm not new to the deckbuilding section of MTGS. I used to be around pretty regularly, but I've recently started a blog (click here) where I've been posting up my concepts and ideas. Since then, I haven't been posting much on MTGS, because I like to use my blog for my creative outlet. Some of you might remember my semi-successful and very popular Chancellor's Rites deck.

Well I'm back with a new fun and deceptively powerful deck. I know there is alot of discussion about both Simic Elves and Biovisionary as separate deck concepts. I've been working to combine the two and splash black for some help.

    DECKLIST

    Original List
    First Update

Here are a couple of pictures I've blogged with some fun wins:

[ Click ] Decklist (+Article if you click "Back to MTGRZ")
[ Click ] My first Biomancer win
[ Click ] You don't need Biomancer to win!
[ Click ] Silly red deck. You're not faster than me!
[ Click ] First ever Garruk ultimate win!
[ Click ] First update to the list (See attached article for reasons for changes)

    QUICK NOTES

    - I've done a quick write up for some tips and synergies (Located Here).

    - Against control, I usually go for the full-aggro approach. I like to side out the 5 combo pieces (3 Biovisionary and 2 Infinite Reflections) to make room for better cards in the matchup (2 Duress, 2 Golgari Charm, and 1 Vraska, the Unseen). There are other cards that can make it into the deck depending on the type of control.

    - Against aggro, I usually just try to chum up the board and combo off for the win with Visionary, though dropping an Infinite Reflection on an Elvish Archdruid will turn a stall into a win for you as well.

    CONCLUSION

I'm gonna keep testing this, and if you have access to the cards, I'd encourage you to test as well! I can use any help you offer (my original list didn't have Golgari Charm until it was suggested!).

Also, if you like seeing alot of different brews, both new/innovative, or variations of existing decks (I'm working on Esper Control and American Flash still), please follow my blog if you're on Tumblr, or bookmark it if you're not (though signing up for Tumblr is a good idea since there is a great MTG community and you can help me with my stats :D).

My point exactly, it was not a black and white answer. (this will/will not be reprinted) He left it open-ended. Thus the speculation.

If you don't want to contribute to the thread, don't post in it. There are plenty of other places to spout negativity on the internet.

He left it open ended to cover himself if, somewhere down the line, there is a set that it fits in. He's not hinting at anything that's in the works. If you want to speculate on something that's 7+ years down the line, be my guest.....in 6 years.

Jeez. People will speculate over anything just for the sake of it, apparently.

What part of "I’m not sure it’s coming back in an expert expansion or core set any time soon" got you going? He didn't outright dismiss it, because it would be foolish to say that it's impossible to ever come back, but he basically said it's not happening. People need to learn that everything isn't black and white all the time.

I played a game earlier wherey opponent (1v1) got out a turn 1 Serra's Ascendant that swung 4 times before the 4th got blocked by a couple of fliers. At that point the score was 64 to 22 in his favor. When I won a few turns later off the back of tokens and the 3WW enchantment that puts +1/+1 counters on each creature whenever a creature ETB's (can't think of the name right now), sent me multiple messages about how I only won because of that "cheap" enchantment and how I was lucky to have it.

Here's the kicker, the turn before I alpha'd, he dropped the same enchantmemt.

He completely ignored my argument that he basicslly got to start the game at triple my life total thanks to Ascendant, but according to him, that cards addition was just "good deckbuilding".

    People are just idiots, unfortunately.
