I don't like the idea of milling someone out with Undercity Informer, it just requires too many creatures. Say the game has gone on long and your opponent has 10 lands on the board, in a typical deck that means they have 14 left in their library. That means you need 15 creatures to fully mill them. Even in a reanimator deck that's too many.

On the other hand I do very much like the idea of Undercity Informer combined with Duskmantle Guildmage. That's a way to add some reach to a deck, and an alternate win condition without requiring many deck/sideboard slots. Maybe 2 for each creature. The guildmage, assuming your opponent is at 20 reduces the number of creatures needed for a "mill" win to a mere 7.

High Priest of Penance seems a bit cute. I like that I can use it as artifact and enchantment destruction but most of the time it seems like it's just being used to set up a Nightshade Peddler/Izzet Staticaster style combo, except it's not usable every turn unless you stay in green for Mayor of Avabruck. Stilll, I think it's good enough to replace a Golgari Charm.

This is what I think my deck will run after GTC is out.

The MB has no changes but the SB sees 5 new cards in the guildmages, priest, and informer.

you have the mill thing all wrong.

High Priest of Penance seems like it might be a bit cute, but Fathom Mage seems like a real winner in the deck. Vozkopa Confessor... I don't know? Maybe one, or maybe sideboard? Not bad vs. control. I think Zealous Conscript and Goldnight Commander need to be in the deck.

well th high priest of penace is in here to slow down agro decks in the begining of the game and then to combo with izzit staticaster later in the game and wipe there board... the vozkopa confessor was my way to nuke my oppents hand of there sweeper or anything else they might have in hand thats going to hurt me.

K, so I've played this deck on and off. The new human today has me very excited. I think I'm going to start testing a 4c list based on a new combo:

Angel of Glory's Rise reanimating: Under City Informer+Burning Tree Shaman+Fiend Hunter

    Combo works like this:
    -Reanimate or cast AoG
-Bring back Undercity informer, burning tree emmisary, and Fiend hunter
-Burning tree emissary ETB adding 2 mana to your mana pool
-Fiend hunter targets AoGR, exiling it
-Using 1 mana from BTE sac BTE to Mill via informer(either yourself for more fodder or opponent
-Using other mana from BTE to sac Fiend hunter, causing AoGR to ETB bringing everyone back
    -Rinse, lather repeat
    -----options
Add champion of the parish or lambholt for an infinitely huge creature. Add either lightning mauler or zealous conscripts to attack right away.

Substitute Undercity informer for disciple of grisslbrand for infinite life.

With two or more BTE's Abuse and Citp effect infinitely
    -cathedral sanctifier/huntmaster for infinite life
    -Kessig malcontents for infinite dmg
-zealous conscripts for steal all and haste all
    - and there's probably more

your right the undercity informer is insane in this type of deck mill/ easy sac outlet. i have won so many games from kesig malcontents its insane. could you put up a mock list so i can see it.... i like lambholt but, not a fan of parsh in this game, ya he gets huge but he is only a big beater nothing more.

Thanks for clearing that up. Still, I get the feeling that you could remove one or two of the colors in this deck to make it run more consistently. Naturally black and white must stay, then maybe red, green, or blue to go with it?

thats the trouble tho cutting the colors, i need red for faithless looting, statcaster, nd huntmaster. i need blue for flash back on trackers instincs, staticaster. and green is all my mill spells and alot of things.

So a five-color human deck? I dunno. Most human decks I see are red-white or green-white so it may be a good idea to narrow your colors down. As for Unburial Rites, that card is used in decks dedicated to it with cards like Griselbrand and Craterhoof Behemoth. Instead I suggest you try red-white humans and focus on Champion of the Parish, Silverblade Paladin, and various Gatecrash Boros cards. If you want I could make a possible decklist.

the point of unburial rites is to combo with angel of glory rise and bring all your humans back from the grave.

i like the deck idea bu the new goblin one drop needs to be in here giving all your creatures trample/first strike is to good to pass up. also strangleroot giest is another good 2 drop tha would trigger both evolve on the experiment one and goes amazng with rancor.

With Trostani, grow the ranks and ratchet bomb rotating, this might become a deck. I see potential, but am afraid it will not be fast enough.

Think of a way to consistently beat g/b zombies which will be the fastest deck imo and you're set.

zombies have no late game. we have enough chump blockers and token producers to be able to stall them. what i am more worried about is bonfire/ blood artist. with only 1 low mana cost anthem it might get rough on us.

with the first list i like it but you need more mana dorks, to be able to hit the life gainers... also dont forget about heros reunion the new g/w spell that gains 7 life.

I think that the Cavern of Souls is a great idea for this type of deck. I would swap them with 2 forest and 2 plain so that you don't hinder your mana base by taking out the dual lands.

agreed with above, also i think the idea of switching in to the aposite blessing is better than running it main... now a random thought but what about running tezzeret's gambit in here as like a 3 of? i have no clue what would replace it but we got 8 guys that use counters already + the gavony townships. and i hear aggro deck love card draw

i think the galvanic blasts should be piller of flames, you have no way to make metalcraft in this deck with only 2 swords, also maby think of hellrider in this deck if you curve out on turn 4 they are mostlikely dead. side note i like the deck list and i love humans in general.

    4 Leonin-Relic Warder
    4 Restoration Angel

    4 Cloudshift
    4 Mana Leak
    4 Venser, the Sojourner

Could something along these lines work?[/QUOTE
your thinking to much along the lines of control, i belive that this card will be used more in agro decks to help to save creatures from point blank removal... also question if some one arc trails targeting 2 of your creatures and you cast this card in response to targeting will both of the creatures be saved???

i like it because i hear blinking you bladesplicer is good. oh and resetting your strangleroot giests are good. oh and saving your hero of bladehold from dissmember and beast within is good. jusat saying many things can be done with this card and it really gives ww a chance of doing good agianst rdw or anything with a ton of burn. needs to be tested!!!
