Then I cast Deadeye Navigator and soulbond them both (Monstrous Skullbriar and Deadeye)
then blink Monstrous Skullbriar.
when it comes back to battlefield as Skullbriar (with 5 +1/+1 counters), can I use Cytoshape to make it as another copy of Nemesis of mortals and use the monstrosity ability again?
Sorry if this has been discussed before, tried to search for it but couldn't find anything...
Anyway, I was wondering if MTG will ever create a card or character that is purely a mono G Angel. Right now we have a mono color angel for every other color, except G. I've always been a fan of G and the thought of having an angel in a Mono G deck (talking about EDH here by the way.) sounds interesting.
I didn't list any mono W for obvious reason. So my question are:
1. Is it acceptable flavor-wise to have a Mono G angel.
2. If Yes, what kind of angel will it be?
3. If no, why?
3) If an opponent controls the Whip and you control Obzedat, since triggers are put on the stack in APNAP order, if it's your turn, the Whip's triggered ability will resolve first, exiling it, so it won't be able to return. If it's your opponent's turn, see #2.
How can opponent's whip has any effect to my Obzedat? Whip says "from your own graveyard".
Assuming i didn't "steal" Obzedat from my opponent, how does the the whip affect my obzedat?
Assuming I equipped Weatherseed Treefolk with Deathrender, and I sacrifice Weatherseed Treefolk to Bloodthrone Vampire, will i be able to return Weatherseed Treefolk to my hand and use Deathrender's ability to put it in play equipped to Deathrender again to make some sort of loop?
how about predator ooze? it has potential to grow bigger with the +1/+1 counters and can provide constant supply of counters since it's very hard to remove it.
Ideal scenario:
T1, land - Arbor Elves
T2, Breeding Pool (untap) - Predator Ooze
T3, Biomancer, swing with Predator Ooze (get 1 counters)
T4, Ooze Flux, swing with predator ooze and get another counter. Then after combat phase, can start creating Ooze token.
Hi, assuming i cast Cytoshape targeting Skullbriar, the Walking Grave copying Nemesis of mortals.
Then i make it monstrous.

or with activated ability that give the angel temporarily flying (because I would expect it to be able to at least swing from tree to tree).
something like 4: ~ gains flying until end of turn.
something along the line of Gabriel Angelfire.
What kind of plane will the angel be suitable in?

Other Mono color angels:
Mono U
Illusory Angel
Mono R
Akroma, Angel of Fury
Mono B
Example: Crypt Angel
Mono X
Platinum Angel

or rather *put sun glasses* hands on hips* "the flavour text just got....cut"
On topic:
I think the hydra can still be quite good as a replacement for strangleroot geist.

shake my opponent's hand, say good game and good luck, then go have a smoke and come back after for another game.
I enjoy the game itself and the end result won't change that.

that's my 2 cents.
yes..but this give you trample..
edit: and cannot be countered.
T1 Glistener Elves, T2, swing, bloodrush Ghor Clan Rampager and mutagenic growth..
A possible 7 poison counters on T2.
Without Mutagenic Growth, swinging with 5/5 trample infect seems good as well...
but maybe that's just me...
