Currently have PSI, Reanimator, Dredge, and Forgemaster MUD sleeved up. I've toyed around with the Oops All Spells list as well.
I know there is a wide variety of decks listed in the poll question that all play differently. Just out of the first four I listed, the only one that really feels like combo to me is PSI. Drawing lots of cards and chaining together spells is what combo means to me.
Reanimator is really like a special kind of ramp deck. My Forgemaster MUD plays with lots of control elements (tax effects, chalice, trinisphere), and Dredge is... well Dredge.
Just my opinion, I know some of you disagree, no doubt.
There is a guy at my LGS that has a deck that does exactly this. He uses Final Fortune, Isochron Scepter, and Sundial of the Infinite. The win condition is Laboratory Maniac. He runs blue to dig for the combo pieces as well as permission to back it up. The problem is it is kinda convoluted and easily disrupted.
No doubt it is fun to play and you have the benefit of it being a fairly rogue deck, but based on my experience playing against it, I don't think it is a top tier deck.
I also did a quick search for a creature that could serve as a target for Worldly Tutor to fetch that would remove enchantments and artifacts, but so far the search isn't good.
Ingot Chewer could work for troublesome artifacts. Wispmare could work for enchantments, although it would be tougher to generate white mana than red.
Every time I open my red binder, Active Volcano is one of the first cards I see. As far as I know it sees no play. Is it so much worse than Red Elemental Blast or Pyroblast that the debate isn't even worth having?
Is it just because REB/Pyroblast prevents JTMS from hitting the board? Is permission that much better than resource denial (land distruction)?
This is a very skill intensive card. There are also instances where you can use it targeting yourself if you want to put something into your graveyard from your hand.
Just went by my LGS to pick up my box of boosters that I pre-ordered. When I showed up I was told that they were not shipped enough product to distribute boxes to anybody that pre-ordered. They only had enough boxes to support FNM tonight which is going to be a sealed format event.
They told me they would get 17 boxes next week. Now that is a weird number to begin with, but whatever. There are more than 17 boxes that were pre-ordered, so if for some reason I am not among the first 17 to go by the shop after the delivery next week, it could be two weeks before I get my hands on the booster box that I pre-ordered. I also pre-paid, BTW. Not happy.
I have a question regarding declaration of mana color. Let's say I tap Chromatic Sphere to add a mana of any color to my mana pool. I then get to draw a card. Do I have to declare the color of mana produced prior to drawing the card? Intuitively, I think this is how it works, but I can't find a ruling for this. Thanks.
I have an attacking Wurmcoil Engine and my opponent declares his Child of Night as a blocker. In response to declaring his blocking creature, he sacrifices the Child of Night with a spell that I can no longer remember.
The question I have is this: since the Child of Night left the battlefield prior to the assignment of damage, do either of the creatures' lifelink abilities cause lifegain? Also, even though the Child of Night has been sacrificed, the Wurmcoil Engine is still blocked, correct?
I'm sorry, but I don't remember the mechanism my opponent used to sac his CoN.
I appreciate any advice I could get. Any references to the appropriate section in the comprehensive rules would be great as well.

Absolutely correct. I goofed that one.
