When you say 65 lands are you talking about utlity lands and other color specific lands? I think i have about 52 total land cards, but not all serve the purpose of mana fixing.
What other lands would you suggest to create a more balanced mana base?

I'm currently using Signets, Bounce Lands, Pain Lands, and Shock Lands in my 500 card unpowered cube for mana fixing. I've decided to spend the money to upgrade the bounce lands to fetch lands.
I think this is the right call, over signets since they help with ramping as well, but avoid land destruction and can be used with tinker.
