I am requesting a signature. I'm really impressed with what I've seen so far of your work. I would like Savra Queen of Golgari in the middle, Spiritmonger on the left, and the textless edition of Putrefy on the right. If you could make the photos blend into each other that would be miraculous. Across the bottom I'd like the words "Don't be a drag..." I anticipate seeing your creativity and thanx.
I'm working on a deck with the GY power in general as well. UG seemed the only way to go. I'm not a fan of the Ruinators though as they seem counterproductive.
I beg to differ. While it's probably more classic instead of gothic horror, don't forget the Creature from the Black Lagoon, as well as many sea-faring tales dealing with leviathans, giant squid, and other creatures.
Couldn't have said it better. When I was first looking into the lore of this set, it reminded me a lot of Darkstalkers, like when UFS did the first set of Darkstalker, about every kind of classic monster type was covered and more. Only in Innistrad blue was zombies and no aquatic monsters. I could def see Kiora, although as to why idk. But by now we know Wizards can connect anything if it needs to.
I could also see Avacyn as a planeswalker. How BA would it be to have an angel walker? Either this or she will be a g/w legend mythic
I'm working on this deck atm as well. I'm not a big fan of Vamp Interloper...I'm using Child of Night instead. He can at least block and give me some life. Also not feeling the Bloodlord. While he is awesome, by the time you have the mana you should be finishing up and your little creatures should already be out. The Marauders is an awesome card and can help you finish a game quickly. Olivia is wonderful as well. Bump in the night seems like a psuedo bolt but its life loss so it can't target pw's or critters. No Sorin?
What this deck REALLY needs is Mystic Snake! A creature who counters? Sign me up!
Another suggestion I got last night was running 2 Gnaw to the Bone in the deck, especially vs fast aggro decks.
I fully agree with Mystic Snake, I demand a reprint!! Gnaw would give some redic life gain midgame up. I'm really close to my final list before I order the parts offline. The following thread gave me a lot of insight: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=356217
First, Swords wreck this deck. A Sword of Body and Mind gives this deck fits, even with the milling. Same with an active Etched Champion, there's no good answers maindeck.
Second, the deck needs something. Maybe I need to fit a few counters in, or some other form of disruption, because other decks are trying to run their own cool combo (either Sun Titan shenanigans, or Mentor of the Meek/Puresteel madness, etc) and they are often slightly faster.
Third, ideas for the future: I'm thinking of cutting 1-2 cards and putting in 1 or 2 Vengeful Pharaoh. They combo quite well with Mindshrieker.
I would assume Swords would wreck any deck that the sword provides pro over, so op.
I feel you on the disruption part. That was my whole thinking with going blue instead of black as the secondary color. However with the strategy of loading your graveyard with critters to fuel your critters, it doesn't leave much room for non creature spells. Haha, too bad we don't have Snakeform anymore.
I like the idea of the Vengeful Pharoah, I just can't see a use for him if you draw him.
What is your record with your build so far?
It def seems that Heartless Summoning does some BA combos. I'm really getting the itch to try this combo as well. For your deck I would ditch the Falkenrath Noble. Sure if you have one heartless out he isn't that bad, but assuming you don't get one out, he costs so much for so little. Its just my opinion that he costs too much for what you get out of him. I would up Solemn Simulacrum to four, and perhaps add Bloodgift Demon or maybe even Rune-Scarred Demon. Maybe lower Glissa the Traitor to three, she is a legend after all.
Is Grasp of Phantoms really worth it, especially in this deck? Against anything except Deathtouch you're already fine.
I'm kinda confused on what you mean. Are you saying the creatures will be so big only deathtouch will matter? I do see your point however, that these are really the only two removal cards left in the deck and they look very out of place.
Wow, I suppose I must've just skimmed through Kessig Cagebreakers, I never noticed that last part, lol! That's amazing mid-late game here. And Jace's Archivist I never really liked but I can def see it here. Kind of wondering how well Viridian Emissary and Bonehoard would do in this deck. I've never played a deck with this few spells in it, and I always liked that U/G had so much control over the field in past sets, but this deck style is a whole new ball game. And yeah...there are a lot of 2cmc cards here.... I really appreciate your input guys
This is a deck type I've come up with as well and it looks really fun, glad to see others are already testing it. I don't like Skaab Ruinator in it...he kinda defeats the purpose of some of the other critters. Here is my build thus far...
Hey all, this is my first thread. I'm really siked about Innistrad and I had some deck ideas. Hoping to get some feedback here. UG is one of my fav color combos and I wanted to do something w/o pod (OMG!). Using a lot of the blue cards to mill myself for grave synergy and creature control, then using green to lay the damage down. Very skeletal list and open to suggestions
Wow, all of these look awesome. Was totally hoping Lord of Lineage would have been the front of the vamp intro. But I'll take Falkenrath Marauders Wonder what the second rare is...
Not that the Lili art is bad it's just I don't really like the orientation or Lili where we could have had something cool like Moonmist or Endless Rank of the Dead on the side of the box. Even Rocky Horror Vamps (FrankenVamps? Vampenfurter?) would be cool on the side.
I def agree. I like this art of Lili compared to her previous cards....but why is she hogging all the art space on the box? Especially for a set with so many factions in it.
Thank you! Sig looks amazing and way more colorful than I was expecting

Yes, the more I think about it the more I am liking it. It could turn a Bird or a Mindshrieker into a beast flyer.
