The card's wacky but I'm not sure what I'd actually want to do with it.

My personal thinking is this maybe another nail in the coffin for Burn decks. I don't believe it to be the final one but it certainly is potent. If the burn deck doesn't kill you by turn 4-5 or 3-4 with some ramping, they will basically run out of fuel in the long run and this tree makes that possible. It can't be burned away by such decks unless they actually run Blasphemous Act which in itself is situational at best and very costly if the green deck is not using as many creatures to win.
I'm sure a Doran EDH deck will have a way to get rid of the defender part as a lot of it's beaters tend to be high toughness low power anyway.
We do know of the vampire legend (Olivia), the zombie legend (Grimgrin), and the human legend (Mikaeus).
We were also informed that in order to make room in the set, they had to push the werewolf legend further back in the same block to make room for the new version of Garruk. Yet that was the only legend to be officially announced of getting pushed back.
So if there is one more legend in the set of Innistrad, it would be the spirit legend.
Yet what could this legend do? Well what do the other legends do for their respective tribes?
Yet that also raises two question: What is the Win Condition for spirits? What synergy will the legend have with its tribe like the other three tribes aside from it's own creature type?

Lets discuss.
2 rares (1-ofs) + 1 random rare/mythic from the booster. The rares vary form "Janky" to "Good" to "Great" depending on the choices and the quality.
Also the Elder of Laurels is a pumper with an activated ability, not a standard lord. in the spoiler go look.
Sturm und Drag (Storm and Urge or Storm and Stress). From the German language.
Sounds like according to the deck, it grows and decreases with flashback shenanigans.
