I suppose spell queller should be a 4-of. Probably in the place of Responder.

That was my results as well. void grafter is the only other creature I think can compete in that slot with the exception of maybe Thalia. In addition, would blossoming defense work better that unsubstantiate? I don't see much value in unsub. Unsub is really a tempo card. I dunno. Maybe if you went Thalia and went up to 4 blessed alliance? You can always use the poor mode of untapping creatures with it....may be worth testing.

I think I'd want to try Jace instead of Dovin. He helps unclog your 4 drop, and provides more loyalty to activate heart of kiran easier. Aeriel responder is the weakest creature. I know, vigilance. But I'd still think about using something else....I'll edit if I can think of anything.

Favorite card of the set. I want 4. And 100 monkeys. And after a monkey attacks, I want to play a tragic slip altered with a banana peel. #2017goals

Liliana laughs at this guy. He's cool and will see play, but glad he has cards to keep him in check

paradoxical outcome has a new friend. Ramp into paradox engine, return many 0-2 mana casting artifacts to your hand, draw a bunch of cards, cast them all, retapping mana stones each time something etb, and finish them with a fireball, etc. I wonder how soon this card will be banned and in which formats?

I'd also think about mixing some colorless spells it the build. spatial contortion I think is he name of the card; mirrorpool, thought-knot seer are some cards I'd test.

I'd rather play Gisela. Or Gideon. Even if she was 4 mana. Meh.

I'm really surprised we haven't seen this card with haunted dead and prized amalgam. Might be really good in grixis. Liliana on board can assist this with dealing with the 3 toughness problem dudes.

I think banning reflector mage is the right call. He just makes so many creatures completely unplayable. Kalitas sees sideboards. Mindwrack demon can't even. And the list goes on. Queller is new, but killable, and you get your spell back immediately once it's dead. Coco will not be banned. It's got -3 months left.

Wizards: "we'll never reprint man o war in standard because it was too good." Prints reflector Mage.....

reflector mage likes to bounce Kalitas and Mindwrack. Huge tempo loss. 4 drops need to have a ETB/cast ability or hexproof. goblin dark-dwellers is really the best value creature Jund can run. The only other 5 mana spell that I can even think to run is Ob.

A lot of these lists could run dark petition and season's past; it's like 3 in the mb. What are people's findings on this?

After seeing SCG, I'm brewing a list in Jund. The new incinerate looks good to zap a queller or something.

Wanted to watch Ali's Sultai delirium in action but couldn't catch the live coverage. When and where do they archive the footage?

That's a good question. I saw the top 8 against the g/b delerium player who should've won game 1. (He could have made a 4/4 token off of Nissa) I didn't catch many interactions with LtLH, but she seemed strong.

Contemplating building something similar with this brew. Questions: what do people think about kindly stranger? Can lili -2 enough for it to matter, and can it kill legitimately fast enough?

Has anyone tried a control/rock type shell with advocate/demon/languish? reflector mage is a card. I don't know what threats can withstand languish....on this side reality smasher maybe? season's past? Also, ishkanah looks terrible. I haven't played with it - but geez, at mythic, you'd have thought it would have hexproof or something. It just seems underpowered for the rarity.

Has anyone tested collective effort? Creatures are in abundance to tap for additional effect; but it's +1/+1 bonuses are fairly similar to Gideon's (ok, an emblem is much different - but not really if you're creating the emblem and swinging for the win). It's one less mana than Gideon. turn aside seems like a nice counter against targeted removal too.

Has anyone tested oath of nissa? With multiples, it helps get enchantments in the gy and filters.

So what are the standout sideboard cards that fit the deck at the moment? I'm thinking Collective Effort, Turn Aside, and Negate will be useful. I'm not sure Dispel will get much use since most of the dangerous spells are sorcery speed this standard. At least it seems that way. Out of the three I'm probably least inclined to use Turn Aside since we got a way to stop permanent targeting via Rattle chains.

You could always use invasive surgery if you're afraid of Sorceries. Bonus to lobotomize if you jump through the hoops
