I would run Peels. Worst case you snap and flash a peel. Block with snap than use peel to return snap and the other creature. What is the plan against spirits? and 6/6 geist or a 4/4 geist with flying is rough with hexproof.
I think that's key... knowing how many playsets you need.
It just can get pretty old around here when you hear "OMG WOTC SUCKS FOR NOT GIVING US A SPOILER." Give me a break, an extra day or two won't kill anyone. Heck, this time next week no one will care.
That's like saying on December 20th "I don't know why these kids keep pestering me about what present they got. Come next week on one will care."
Of course they won't care they will have their spoiler and/or product. The point is we are all little kids, some of which, are impatient and tired of waiting.
How much do people pay for packs usually?
They're $4 a pack here, but I remember they were $5 each for years and years. I guess they must be cheaper other places.
I pay 3.49$ a pack and can buy boxes here for 110$
Random is random. Today we opened two fat packs and did a draft and there was three snaps in a total of 42 packs. 4.6 pack avg for us in that instance.
Hey, I'm pretty new to MTG. How are glint hawks used in this deck isn't the removal a problem? Or can you pull one out, put mox opal in your hand and then bring it right back out that turn? Something to that nature
A favorite turn 1 play which isn't too uncommon to see is
Land, Mox Opal, Memnite, Signal Pest, tap mox for glint, play Mox tap for another creature or dispatch.
The hawk allows you to get a free creature if you have a mox and metal craft. Or it can allow you to swing and return an artifact to block...ie swinging with a spellskite with battle crys to get extra dmg in than replay it untapped.
Well foils that are played in Legacy and Modern commend a higher premium than those that are standard only. Easy comparison is Stoneforge Mystic - normal 7-8$ but foil ranges on ebay in the last week 28-50. Or Mental Mistep before the banning. 5$ normal and 30 ish foil. What would that price be if it were rare? 120? Or mythic 200?
It is not uncommon for a foil to be 3x the normal value do to type 1. So if snapcaster is fetching 22-24 normal than foil should be 70-90
Do you work for a credit card company? No... just no. Not even as a last resort. First, it sets a bad precedent, second, the cash advance fees are usually worse than the late fees. Check your card's full tems and conditions.
I don't but I suppose defaulting on the payment is better? I was saying if there was no way to pay the minimum payment. If you have 500$ on your card at 0% interest and you pull 30$ out as a cash advance, sure that 30$ might be 21% but if you default the entire 500$ is 24-29%
So what you're saying is that you only get to destroy their lands If you don't have Heartless Summoning out? But the Summoning makes Perilous Myr cost nothing to cast thus enabling the combo without it you're paying 2 mana for each time you kill the Myr and getting it back with Glissa.
You play the combo out after you get the pieces out, by the time you cast Natural Affinity that basically nukes the board pretty much but it's funny. All the spells still resolve on the stack until Glissa and the Myr dies from the combo itself from when Affinity resolves last.
HS only makes your creatures -1/-1 so it doesn't hit their lands. Not sure what you meant by

But you don't have to cast the Myr unless you want to. In which case its a one sided Armageddon
Moonmist and Ratchet Bomb make for a cute combo if you want to force mass removal. Ratchet Bomb also takes out tokens decks and you can keep swords locked down easy enough. I find that main decked DoJ is a must. I also feel with Rites of Flurishing we get enough land drops that we can fog are way into the bigger win conditions. Also Elesh Norn acts like a mini DoJ against the right deck. Snapcaster is huge in this deck, IMO. We have so many instant speed options and in a pinch 4-6 DoJ.
I feel TS and POD will be the "deck to beat" so with that in mind I picked up 3 Timelys and 4 Naturalize against the speed of TS and Timely helps out with any red deck that pops up. Flashfreeze helps with RDW and POD and to some extent that random token deck that people will be playing. A 3rd Jace I think is important against control decks who are packing 4 O Rings. I'm still unsure if Flasefreezes just become Mana Leaks so combat control and discard but needs more testing.
I must stress this is a last resort; but if you can't afford to make your payment you can always cash advance 30 bucks and than use that to make the payment. It's not going to help with the debt but with 0% interest and when in a pinch you can pay them with their own money.
you pay zero interest during your 18 months. But most credit card companies have loop holes. Such as if you are late even once your forfeit that rate and get bumped up to the delinquent pile and pay 23-29%
Buyers named the 30$ price not SCG, Snapcaster was like 6 bucks at first.
I have to agree. SCG was selling them at 10 than 15 than 20 and now 30? Each time they sell out of a certain price they raise. People are still paying that money to pre-order. And according to the store they are sold out @ 30$
Geist of Saint Traft seems like they want to be in a deck that doubles their angle tokens. Than if you have a Virtue in play you get 10 power in the air.
