I'm really disappointed it turned out more to be a collectors product than an actually players product. I was very excited for some of the cards but I'm a casual player (like my friends) and none of us is ever going to pay 250+$ for 15 cards. Cards which were chosen directed at a casual format. Some might say "if you are not willing to pay that much don't buy it then", but my real issue is that I'm starting to loose trust/faith in WotC if they continue this road. I expect something similar will happen with their modern product too, and if that really happens it might change my view of WotC beeing a player friendly company.
Now that DKA is released for a while now, does Grafdiggers Cage actually see play? I just wonder because I don't play legacy or vintage and the amount of hate this card received doesn't seem to reflect the secondary market prices. (it dropped from 9€ to 4€ over time)
Creatures entering the Battlefield with Evoke or Flash enter the battlefield (and triggering all ther abilities) thus gain the benefit of the static undying ability thanks to Miki.
1. Shriekmaw -> yes you get to kill 2 nonblack creatures when evoking it.
2. Flash + Creature -> The creature will come back from the graveyard.
3. Phyrexian Dreadnought + Undying Evil -> The sacrifice ability is a triggered ability, so yes, you get the cance to cast Undying Evil. However, if you sacrifice it when Undying Evil has resolved, it enters the battlefield again due to Undying and triggers the sacrifice ability again. Thus not really a good combo...
in addition:
4. Flash + Creature + Undying Evil -> not possible, because putting it on the battlefield and the sacrifice is in the resolution of the same spell. No one gets priority until a spell has fully resolved.
You think Sorin is Overrated? I lost to him and a almost prefect vampire Deck...
A 1/1 Lifelinker every turn + Bloodline Keeper was devastating.
My opponent had so much luck to pull both a Sorin and a Liliana. Argh.
Chosen of Markov was interesting, you can choose which Creature type you needed, for a Human Sacrifice or to gain Benefits from other Vampires.
When a Mass removal like Day of Judgment hits the board, does Requiem Angel (or similar cards like Pawn of Ulamog) see other creatures you control die and thus trigger?
I really like her. The art is stunning and the effect is nice too. So if i control her with some non spirit creatures on the battlefield, does she create tokens when a Board Wipe like Day of Judgement hits the board or does she need to survive?
Im a casual player playing more at the kitchen table than in stores because i can't afford it. But I always try to make it to the prereleases. Adding a bit a flavor just make me want to go more, because i lke the story and gimmiks. I wasn't sure if i should go this year, but after reading that article i made up my mind and i will be there, hoping to bite the humans necks
BUT I hope they do it at our Event they sometimes mess up with the organisation. Last time we didn't even get achievment cards.
I have to admit DKA does look underwhelming for every format except limited (this from a casual edh player).
I'll wait with my judgement after i played a few sealed games. I hope it's the same as with Innistrad, it seemed weak at first but was real fun to play.
Only concern i might have is, that the majority doesn't seem to like the powerlevel going down. If the Innistrad Block is tuned down, that means the next set ought to stay the same powerlevel wise. Otherwise INN + DKA and AVR are nonrelevant regarding Standard with a few exceptions like Tragic Slip etc. But i fear that's exactly what's going to happen. WotC likely will buckle down when they realize that the sells are going down (i mean why buying boosters if there are only 3-4 cards you would want?) and tune the power level up again, making the INN block look like a failure.
I am SO glad that the demon is on the FlipSide. Kaalia EDH decks would have wet their pants being able to cheat a 13/13 flying intimidate trampler into play who grows stronger each time they knock out a player.
But im still hoping for a legendary U/W one...
I'm not sure if his ability still resolves if he's not on the battlefield anymore.

I would say yes but I'm not sure.
When i remember correctly Koth just kidnapped Venser to Mirrodin to fight the Phyrexians, I wouldn't call that a fight...
Now that he is dead it makes even less sense. But im going to buy this one because i own neither of the Planeswalkers and the Artwork looks amazing.

btw: what does SCD stand for?
