Easy, 4 of each non-power 9 card. I'm a type 2 player only, so I don't want the power nine, even if I can sell them, because I'd already have all the cards I need. I actually don't sell much, anyway.
Call me crazy but I think there is a bit of truth in it all. I mean we have known for a long time that kids with ADD tend to be smart and rather intuitive, so there is nothing new there. And leading a more agrarian lifestyle could very well help people with ADD - look back 200 years and do you see much complaints about kids with ADD-like symptoms? No.
However all the stuff about "indigo kids" being more evolved and what-not is a lot of b.s. if you ask me. Just because a person is really intuitive doesn't mean that they should be allowed to not pay attention in school. I myself am ADD, and I know first hand that sometimes the best way to learn isn't in the traditional American public school setting. I think the best way to deal with these kids is a combination of traditional and alternative medicine and teach kids in the way they learn best.
I agree. This is corny as heck; as it has been filtered through ignorance. This very well could be possible, but when I think about the "I'm an avatar," Dusk said. "I can recognize the four elements of earth, wind, water and fire. The next avatar won't come for 100 years" part, I shunt it off and restrain myself from throwing up. C'mon, people, why are we always getting this weird nature/ spirituality stuff getting in the way of science? Okay, so this is pseudo-science, but if we can research it more unhindered by this rubbish, maybe it won't be pseudo-science. LIke, what does 100 years have to do with anything? First of all, 100 is a base-10 number, any universal number system is probably going to be a binary system. Second, why a year? That's once around the sun. Once around for this insignificant planet. But I digress. Whatever. That's just my opinion.
What are your favorite free online games, besides runescape (which I actually don't like that much).
Here are mine:
1: Spybotics: the Nightfall Incident- http://www.lego.com/eng/spybotics/game.asp
Yes, this game is on the lego site, but it has nothing to do with legos, actually, it is a complicated version of chess in which each "piece" leaves behind a part of itself when it moves, and each "tailpiece" is 1 point of health. Each "piece" has maximum sizes, attack strenghts, and special abilities. It's a nice long game, too.
2: Heli Attack 3- http://www.miniclip.com/heliattack3.htm
In this game, you battle helicopters through 13 levels with an assortment of 32 weapons and 4 upgrades. On the last level, you try to beat as many as possible before you die.
3: Madness Interactive- http://www.flashplayer.com/games/madnessinteractive.html
In this game, you are a stick-figure type person fighting off almost endless hoards of stick people with a variety of realistic weapons, and with enough blood for y'all.
4: Need for Madness- http://www.radicalplay.com/madness/pgame.html
This is a great racing game where you do stunts to go faster, and you can win by smashing everyone else or winning the race. There are 11 levels which you can beat to unlock cars.
EDIT: It might be good to mention that this is a 3-D game. The graphics are pretty good, and the game is not slow unless your computer is.
5: Motherload- http://www.miniclip.com/motherload.htm
This is a mining game, you need to drill for expensive gems. This game seems to have no point at all, but just keep drilling down and you'll see...
6: ALIAS 3 http://www.freeonlinegames.com/play/2931.html
In this game, there is a complex map, good contols and cool enemies. No gaming revelations here, but a cool game nonetheless.
7: Trapped 5 http://www.flashplayer.com/games/trapped5.html
This is a top-down tile game with monsters and good puzzles, and bad graphics. The only problem is there is no saving and the game takes an hour or more to complete. At least you can't die.
10: Mario World: Overrun http://www.flashplayer.com/games/marioworldoverrun.html
This is a cool shoting game. Nothing spectacular, but there is a difficulty setting, good guns and strategies, and you get to kill mario characters!
When I first saw this, I immediately thought immortality, but I'd take the money. I wouldn't want to be the last human on earth, and with unlimited money, you could be almost immortal with automatic defense systems and some pretty good doctors, however, infinite money would really disrupt the economy.
You don't need to do artwork and stuff. You can represent cards by rectangles, and the names are shown upon selection. You don't even need to put all the zones on the same screen. You can have it so you switch between looking at your hand, your in play zone, your opponent's in play zone, etc.
Yes, this is my plan. Thanks a lot, I'll see what I can do now.
If you've got a calculator, and you want to play Magic with someone sitting next to you with another calculator, why wouldn't you just get a deck out and use the calculator as a life counter?
Probably because I go to a summer camp that doesn't allow magic cards. It's not such a big deal, but with this, you don't have to shuffle or take home your opponent's auras or whatever. It will just be a list of card names for each zone, and you can select them to read the description, so there won't be two cards on a screen, that would be too hard. This also is more covert, too, so you could use it at school or in class!:o I should add a quick escape button that saves all data and stops the program so it looks like you've just been doing math problems, and then you can restart.
EDIT: So basically, there is no real point if you have decks with you, but this eliminates setup and stuff so you can play anywhere.
And for those who care, the program will probably allow you to use 9th precons, and later, build a custom 9th edition deck, but that will take a while if I decide to do that.

But for Get and Send to work, the other calculator has to be Paused or not running a program.
This makes sense. Does it have to be paused to Get, too? And is using Input to display and put the cursor up on the graph or being in a created menu considered "paused?" Or does it have to strictly be the Pause command?
Also, what is assembly language? Isn't it just binary?
I use Get(A), and that is supposed to get the A variable from the connected calculator and store it on the A variable of the calculator getting it, correct?
And I can turn a Basic program into assembly, right? How do I do that?
If someone is very knowledgable about TI 84 calculators, please help me. I have plans to make a program that allows two people to play Magic digitally. Obviously, I will need to use two calculators unless the program is to devolve into two people passing a calculator back and forth for 20 minutes. What can I use in a BASIC program that sends data to another calculator? I thought Get( and Send( would work, but they don't seem to do what I think. Help, please!
How about Gigadrowse so you can tap alot of the opponent's lands before casting Sins of the past? Yo do have boseiju, but this could be better because you can't use boseihu when playing the Storm Herd from your graveyard, so this will make sure your opponent can't do anything. The Urza Lands are probably not a good idea in a two color deck, how about Journeyer's Kite?
I think Confiscate should go, since you generally don't want to be stealing creatures that don't untap. Mimeofacture still could be good, though. brb, my computer is crashing... ...Done.
First, try putting the numbers behind the cards so they don't get included in the name and no one can click on them. Fortunitely, I have most cards from Ravnica memorized.
Leyline is great because it triggers bloodthirst and is cumulative, you'll want four.
OMG, you don't have Scab-Clan Mauler. It is really good, don't overlook it.
Rabble-Rouser isn't that good, take it out. As well as Gruul Scrapper, Silhana Ledgewalker, Petrified Wood-Kin (which is good, but this deck seems to rely on one point of damage to trigger bloodthirst, so maybe to the sideboard.) Also, Primeval Light and Wreak Havoc go to sideboard, maybe just take Wreak out completely.
R2-D2 or C-3PO?

This is a sidescrolling shooter. But it's fun, okay? It's just a good game.
So, what are your favorites?
I'm a pretty good programmer, but I probably will need some help later, thanks!
Yes, this is my plan. Thanks a lot, I'll see what I can do now.

And I can turn a Basic program into assembly, right? How do I do that?
@Sir Blakely- Yes, I will post it online if I can figure out how to send and get data, and if I do write the program.
I think Confiscate should go, since you generally don't want to be stealing creatures that don't untap. Mimeofacture still could be good, though. brb, my computer is crashing... ...Done.

Put in 4 Dryad Sophisticate, maybe 2 Ursapine, possibly 3 Savage Twister, 3 Ulasht, the Hate Seed, and 2 more Wildsize.
Now, sideboard is bad. 4 Primeval Light, 4 Shattering Spree, 4 Leyline of Lifeforce, 3 Life from the Loam. Just a suggestion. Now, if this is supposed to be T2 legal, start putting is Kamigawa cards. Hopefully someone else can help there.
