Hey everyone, some of you may know me by my MTGO and Twitch name Madhatted,
Well today I am proud to present that I will start hosting weekly modern events on magic online and streaming them live on twitch for people to watch!
Our events start at 4 PM Pacific (7 PM Eastern) each week, and for the last week of each month there will be a larger event with even bigger prizes!
With the help of our sponsor (MOXchange) we are able to run this event for free but still going to put some sweet prizes to be won! They are a new website that functions as your personal bot, helping you buy and sell your magic online cards.

Rules
You must play a minimum 60 card deck with a maximum sideboard of 15 cards, all cards must be modern legal.
The tournament format will be swiss with a cut to T8 (T4 if we get less then 16 people)
To sign up for any of the events just look at my battlefy page, make sure after you sign up that you still sign into the event shortly before it starts to confirm your playing or you will be dropped. http://battlefy.com/madhatted
To play your matches simply find your opponents name on the site, talk with them over magic online via chat room (#thursdaynightmodern) or simply start a game with their name in the comments
The games should be played in the Getting Serious area in Constructed Open Play and should be best 2/3, 25 minute clocks and spectators allowed so that I can commentate your match if I want.
Prizes
Prizes will be based on attendance, with 1$ store credit being added for each player who plays,
Example: if we get 16 people the prizes would be something like:
1st 8$
2nd 4$
3rd/4th 2$
But as stated the more people we get the greater the prizes will be+ I will most likely add something in myself.
The store credit can be used on any of MOXchanges many bots or on their website.
For the end of month events we will be increasing the prizes based on attendance and the event will still be free to play to invite all your friends!

I really think they should ban past in flames, the deck is just insane right now, online i have played against it 4 times and every time they went off turn 2 or 3 with one bad drawing getting him turn 4, they said they don't want decks winning on turn 3 and this one is totally doing that.
Punishing fires is also another one that could be considered for the banlist, once its out it almost always crushes the creature decks and its really slow and grinds your opponent out in a none fun way. Yes their is cards that can hate it but still...
P.S when will the next banlist come out?
I was wondering if there is an app that lets you play magic on your iPhone. I want it to be able to let me make decks and play 2 decks against each other (me piloting both). There used to be an app called Wagic but it stopped working properly and its not in the store anymore so i don't know what happened there.
Any help would be great!
What do people think of Hoard-Smelter Dragon? Destroying opponents artifacts and more damage seems good.
Also what about signets? don't you need to play them?
