Not being a jerk or nitpicking, asking out of genuine curiousity, but do you
have a source for that?
I thought that the events of Kamigawa were happening within a 20yr span
of the events of the leaks on Dominaria during Time Spiral. I can't remember
where I read about it, but part of the reason why That Which Was Taken
was actually taken was because the rifts effecting the Multiverse ruptured
the fabric between the spirit and physical worlds on Kamigawa.
Michiko's birth was one of the reasons why the ritual succeeded in the first
place.
It was long enough in the past so that Toshiro from Kamigawa could build up his own house and for it to gain prominence, and to have a descendant to 'slay' Bolas. I'd imagine the first would take longer than one generation, though as for specifics it's been a while since I read the books.
I said it earlier in a diffent thread, but what are the odds that 'Line' and "Sinker' are NOT on Ravnica, like Line is Kamigawa 2.0 and Sinker is I dunno Lorwyn 2.0.
Seems possible.
While a cool concept, you'd have no flow of mechanics considering they'd be happening on completely different planes.
Well wait..this makes things interesting then if both of those are indeed Planeswalkers..
Remember the whole thing about us "knowing one of the planeswalkers" already? Wouldn't that mean that somehow one of them is a character we know about?
There could be three walkers. Or maybe we knew about that soratami from back in kamigawa somewhere.
Or maybe we knew that human before he got devilfied.
I for one would like it if they gave you the option to tap your own land. i lost one game because the game thinks that with 3 islands and 2 plains, tapping two of those islands for a spell when you have a Cancel in-hand is a good idea.
Indeed. The biggest culprit is the RUG deck. It completely ignores any unearth you have access to. Even without that, it always assumes you don't want to play that instant in your hand.
Great as a second chance with sac outlets. Nabs blockers when you need them. Shenanigans with ETB effects. And I'm sure we'll get some more stuff from this set that can work with it. I like the card.
Soooo Flayer of the Hatebound, Devil for 5R
Ghoultree, Zombie Treefolk for ?G
Fiend of the Shadows, Vampire Wizard for 3BB
Havengul Runebinder, Human Wizard for 2UU
And Requiem Angel, Angel for 5W
If there's one thing WotC is known for, it's their fantastic communication and customer service. I'm sure they'll give the community a little heads up as to why we don't have PS3 DLC yet, at least let us know they're working on.
I mean it's not like they'd just let us sit in the dark for weeks right?
...
..
.
I emailed them about it, it's apparently something complicated going on. And yeah, PSN only updates once a week
Just wanted to say I loved the article. Kamigawa's always been my favorite set, and I love seeing people doing something different and not the same old same old.
I'll have to put some thought into a quirky card I love but could never work into a deck.

Nice find!
Oh boy, only 5 weeks late.
Expect Deck 2 in January.
Whenever it gets around to actually being released, I've always been a fan of treeefolk. It'll be interesting to play with them in-game.
SO BEGINS WEEK THREE OF WAITING

Another week, another lack of update for the PS3..
I'll have to put some thought into a quirky card I love but could never work into a deck.
