OOH! I have a fun story for this thread.

She looked confused and taken aback and the final pack rotated in silence. After everyone was done the fiance (who up until this point had been very quiet) stood up, walked over to the other side of the table, and slugged the slimeball in the face. hard. It was epic.

4 players (including myself) conspired to let her win each match and she went home with a modest amount of boosters. To this day i bet she thinks her deck was awesome.

I like this story. The guy got what he deserved and so did she. She won boosters! Smile

I have a friend that we play EDH with who acts like he's untargetable. When you do end up targeting him, he gets upset and says various things that makes him sound very childish. When he loses, he blames his opponents and his deck. I strip mined his land once and he kicked me. He's kinda unstable, but we just usually laugh him off. Plus he gives us free food and drinks and place to play. So there's that...

Didn't see this anywhere, but how many infect counters does it take to kill an opponent? Is there a ruling for this? Our house rules have been 20 since its half of 40 which I think is quite unfair being the only one playing infect in a free-for-all. One on one it's fine for the most part.

I was watching a match of standard last night between u/w humans and u/w delver and the u/w delver attacked with a Delver of Secrets equipped with a Runechanters Pike giving it +5 +0 and first strike. The humans player in response makes a 2/2(Honor of the Pure) spirit token with Moorland Haunt and blocks Delver. The u/w delver player puts the Delver equipped with pike into the graveyard from play after it was blocked assuming it was killed. I saw this and was confused. I'm not sure it is my place as a bystander to point out an illegal interaction or should I call a judge? Not sure what I should do in this situation.

Please use cardtags in the future. ~parinoid

The blood is all in his mind. He's not actually covered in any. Look at his visible sideburns, then look at the sideburns in the mirror. Unless it was an art mistake (and I doubt it is), you'll only see blood on the mirror sideburns.

I'm going to say a discard spell of some sort, but not a gold RB one.

As unlikely it would be, what about a reprint of Duress?

Thought Hemorrhage would be a very good candidate for reprint in this set. The new artwork has got me thinking it looks alot like it could be a reprint of it. Again just speculation, but what do you guys think?

Does anybody know what Brian Kibler's Infect list consisted of at the SCG Invitational? The whole deck list would be nice. Thanks very much!
EDIT: I meant list, not lost.

The brainstorm crap was really eye opening to me. To me it was malicious and planned. He knew that the type of deck he was paying he was going to have a lot of cards in and out of his hand and it would be hard for his opponent to keep track of it all. So the first brainstorm "miss play" can bee seen as a mistake, but the drawing 4 a few minutes later was clearly insane and it is clear he knew it was 4 because while he put them into his hand quickly you can see him spread it out with his forefinger and thumb. He knew he drew 4.

Star City Games has a statement in the comments on their Facebook about the Brainstorm play. Here it is:

"StarCityGames.com ‎(Jared) The brainstorm play was analyzed in the HD version from our archives frame by frame to count and track the individual cards drawn. What seems to be a fourth card is actually a shadow caused by a bend in the sleeve. Sorry guys, but this one is on the up and up." I call B.S.

"A blog is not an article" ? What exactly did you try to say here ?
Of course this blog entry is not what he sent to the DCI and it's pretty obvious when you read it.

I agree completely. After all a blog is very opinionated. He did back his accusations with cold hard facts. I support his accusations after what I have seen. (Brainstorm for 4) (Explore Explore) The list goes on.

It really makes you think how many people know/knew he is/was cheating. I'm going to lose ALL of my respect for SCG if he's not stripped of his title. I have very little for them anyways. Adam deserves that title.

I was playing Caw-Blade post ban and my deck would ALWAYS let me down. The last-straw was loosing to a Timmy infect deck. I went and sold/traded all of my deck away. The night after I said to myself,"I immediately regret this decision." Never have been that mad ever since. Of course I still get mad when my deck topdecks land-after-land like a boss, but who wouldn't.
