If you're foiling out a Jace, I doubt pinching pennies is going to be a goal. If anything it'd be a Veblen good.
Not sure that's what it really is. I mean, those cards ARE incredibly rare after all, are they not? Seems like it would be easy for demand to catch up on supply once a certain number of people wanting to pimp exist. Which then makes it incredibly hard to come by. It's not like people who once decide to buy such cards sell them off again anytime soon. Which makes the collection of cards these guys are showing off rather impressive imo. They show even more insane stuff on the website that's linked at the end of the video.
We experienced similiar things during the prerelease. I had double Braids, a friend of mine double reanimator dragon and yet another guy double red Magus...
If R&D tried at least a little bit to keep the boundaries of the color-pie, wouldn't Serra Angel best fit in blue, then? I mean, huge fliers are blue's strength, aren't they?
Though that would make the existence of Air Elemental obsolete...
Now that you mention it R_E, 'Character' card does sound kinda fishy.
I didn't think much of it until today to be honest (When everyone mentioned it Creature & Character), but it could be a possible tid-bit/spoiler for 'Planeswalker' cards in Time Spiral...
"Many of you know Rob for his brilliant work on the lands of Magic, but more recently he's been branching out into some character art (or as we would call them, spells and creatures). "
Je viens de prendre un ban de six mois, sans trop comprendre pourquoi. Le temps est venu pour moi de fermer la page Magic qui représente la moitié de ma vie pour passer à autre chose.
Bonne continuation à tous.
Olivier
Rough translation (please don't nail me down on it, my french is very bad):
"I got a ban for six months without understanding why. My time has come to quit Magic, which was a big part of my life, for doing other things.
Have a nice time.
Comments from the German page planetmtg.de (roughly translated):

We also saw this behavior from O. Ruel in Hasselt (standing directly at his side), but it seems that contrary to Malmö, Olivier noticed that a judge was focusing on him. [...] In Hasselt he shuffled long enough till no more lands were on top of the library. [...] That way, he shuffled his opponent all the way down to 4 cards.
It's a pity that the judges there weren't courageous enough to interfere. Although they were informed, they prefered to show up in a conspicuous way during the next shuffling process. [...]

In Dortmund I called the judge because of that. That resulted at least in a warning [...]

The accusations aren't new but it's the first time that something is really done about it. [...]
In this context I find it interesting that I never heard someone praise Olivier's playskill before. Think of Budde, Finkel, Kenji, Nakamura, Levy, Karsten, Wiegersma, even Antoine Ruel. I always hear other people talk about them being good players. In Olivier's case, that's always based on results. [...]
In my opinion, that sounds really bad for Olivier.
I guess when the judges were informed by the spectator they first looked up Olivier's history (that's a standard procedure) and when they discovered the previous Warning from Dortmund and maybe one of them remembered the incident from Hasselt, they decided that finally something had to be done...
it's been quite a long time since I last posted here.
I just wanted to let everybody know that the site won't be updated any further but since I'm still developing the set, I uploaded a Zip-File with all current cards for those who're interested:
Is Weight really that good a sideboard card? I was actually thinking about changing the sideboard, but if so, I would want to add Defense Grid because I guess our regionals will be very control-focused. Any opinion on that?
Another thing that just came to my mind: does this deck stand any chance versus Owl? That's the only matchup Lesurgo's article wasn't helpful for...
I just think it's funny how everybody mocks Tibalt, but the Sorin in hand is just as bad, isn't it?

That's it.
And I also get a login prompt when trying to go to gleemax.com (NOT www)

Ok, as it seems, the whole "character"-thing didn't mean anything special, as is evident from here:

So, nothing special with that tidbit.

Dozer is Hanno Terbuyken by the way.

how would you sideboard in the mirror with Lesurgo's list?
- versus Lesurgo's list?
- vs. UR without green?
I guess Annex is a must. Would you leave Wildfire in the maindeck?
Well, I guess the judges wouldn't like that. ;-) To be more precise: What should the first needle name? What should the second one shut off?
