Most people think once a plains walker Ultimates its over. 99% of the time it creates a Emblem. Considering its a Non-land permanent, is there ways to manipulate it. Like can i Divination Ring a Emblem? or can i Gain control of it? what cards might allow me to do that. I play Standard, but dabble in Modern so im trying to figure out ruling. also most token cards for emblems share the background colors of Artifacts. Are they considered artifacts or is that a misconception lead on by the similar gray color that is associated with Artifacts?

so the first one is quite simple and i think i already know the answer im just verifying.

Mutavault allows you to tap for mana , and pay 1 to make it a 2/2 with all creature types. since the second trigger dosent say you have to tap. you can tap for its mana source and pay its own cost? making it a 2/2 with all creature types tapped? I ask for pack rats.

Second can you bestow on an opponent's creature and if so, when there creature dies do they get the enchantment card when it becomes a creature.

Currently Im restarting magic the gathering. i quit come ravnica. and re-joind as of Gods. I havent invested money into packs yet. i would prefer to become competitive. However i dont know how much money would be a good idea to spend on a deck so its competitve. but still not 500$ if anyone has any good ideas on a Good Competitive deck thats on the cheaper side. Please let me know. im currently working on a white winie deck to start. Please help, thanks

Phenax, God of Deception is titled Legendary Enchantment Creature. Can i use Plea for Guidance to get Phenax from my deck? after all the god Is an Enchantment

So, I was wondering if i could use Phenax, God of Deception as a General. Technically he is a Legendary Enchantment? but also a Legendary Creature? Im Asking Because in my Area there is a EDH Leauge And im trying to get into it. but I want to Make sure this is Viable before i Drop the cash for the card. Would make a Great Mill EDH deck rofl. Maybe for Fun id throw a Time Reversal in there LMAO

Very Patched together Deck. The Idea was/is Haste into BloodRush. Any Thoughts on what singles will improve this Deck? how can i make it better. I have not even looked at the Spoilers for Dragon Maze and newer about to do that. Suggestions on a Better way to do RDW i really want to stick to a mono colored Deck though. But i don't mind spending a few dollars to have a more competitive or solid deck.

I stepped out of MTG after a little into GateCrash. I bought 3 boxes of Gatecrash but sold all the Rares when my wife told me she was having a baby. long story very short i am stepping back into magic the gathering and i need to know what i should buy as an esential. I dont know what i want to play as far as white winnie or Burn or mono black and such. i just want to Win a few rounds instead of being beat to the ground like a unwanted Piece of meat. Im willing to spend around 80 dollars in total have Most play sets of comomns and uncommons with gate crash/ravnica. All gates and such no shocks. (heard that was an esential to buy.) looking about maybe drafting a few times but before i do i want a list of cards to be looking for so when im drafting i can at least partly build my deck up. any thoughts just Message back. if you donit like my post im sorry T_T where im at all the mtg ppl hate on new players it sux. looking for some solid insight. thanks

Squadron hawk Reads "When Squadron Hawk enters the battlefield, you may search your library for up to three cards named Squadron Hawk, reveal them, put them into your hand, then shuffle your library." Because the Card reads "Up to three cards" can i search and get 0? and still shuffle. i want to use this in my edh so if i get mana flooded i can shuffle. im also trying to build a deck that has effects trigger on shuffling deck. Any thoughts?

I want to build a deck off the Idea that a Set effect triggers when you Shuffle your deck. I plan on using Cards like Squadron hawk And Fail to search, then shuffle your Library. Dose anyone know of any good cards that trigger when you shuffle your Library

This Probably dose not Belong in Buget But i dont know, A friend of mine made a bet with me saying i couldn't make a 5 color deck that could at least go 2-2 (win half) its battles in standard. My Arguement is Hybrid mana, His is that no matter how much hybrid you wont be able to do such a thing.
