MTG Salvation

So, i'm waffling a little here. I love goblins but I hate how random getting the mana for GoBots is. I like the mana for Atarka goblins but it just seems so slow comparied and i'm not sure goblins has the kind of staying power. I'm going to assume I can't just take out the 4 mox opals for 4 lands and still have gobots work like it should or make sure the moxes are online more often.

So, i'm really liking GoBots but not having bolt or something to do some spot removal really feels wrong to me. What's ya'lls opinion on trying to add bolt?

I took GoBots to states in MO yesterday and while I went 3-2 drop because I was super tired (haven't played MTG in about 2 or 3 months and it was an hour and a half drive one way). I REALLY enjoyed it took down g/b Tron, Bant Eldrazi, and a fully foiled Grixis Delver (game two of the delver was by far my favorite game). Lost to Norn Sisters and Abzan CoCo. Couldn't seem to do much against sisters and I'm pretty sure I lost due to a play mistake against abzan but all in all it was super fun. Having said all of that though, I think not having bolt or G.G. really screwed me over so i think i'm going to do a "12 whack" of sorts. Go more on goblins but keep in the Pest and give that a shot. All in all I love this deck!

Losing Atarka's command is what has me on the fence. Well, that and I'm not just HUGE on Ornithopter. But between Hope of Ghiapur and Toolcraft I really think its worth a shot to try.

I'm interested in tribal decks and Merfolk isn't really doing it for me. Is there anywhere I can watch some videos of some goblin decks being played? I'd perfer the Gobots version as it seems more my style of play.

What are you using Anafenza, the Foremost in replacement of? Rhino?

I like the snapcaster in the side for that reason. I'm not really sure a snapcaster should go main but it is an interesting idea at alest.

So, I was thinking of adding Lili in the side. Do you think we would want LotV or last hope? Also, I completely agree, Tribal Flames seems like it's worth it.

This past weekend I played at an IQ in Memphis. I recently got a set of goyfs so I sleeved up big zoo and I had a blast playing it. I dodged all 4 Jund decks and played against jeski, blue tron, and ban eldrazi. Double drew, won vs deaths shadow (thank you worship) and lost vs ban eldrazi 1-2. All in all I loved it. I think I only lost to bant because of me not having the right fetches and playing with basic mountains instead. But still, I was building Jund because it's the best deck but I might stick with zoo because I had a lot of fun

So, I haven't really looked at this deck since Oath was released since we didn't really get too much from that set. Any good ideas come out since then? I'm thinking of picking it back up as Allies have always been my pet tribal deck when they were originally in standard. Also, what kind of Side board is everyone looking at at the moment?

I've been currently playing the bant version of the eldrazi deck, if you all don't mind me asking, whats the pros and cons to this version?

The problem I have with mimic us that it's an awesome early drop but just horrible late game. He either puts too much pressure for the other play or he does absolutely nothing. There seems to be no in between.

I'm looking at putting this together because I love the flavor of Eldrazi and since it's a bit more balanced I figure it could be fun. My only question is how does this fair with the Nahiri decks going around? It seems my meta has at least two (but i'm sure more) that I had to play against last FNM.

If you're going RW (which I would love if it could work) what about Sin Prodder? Also, I would second the Nahiri and Emrakul or at the very least throw Nahiri as apposed to Ajani because she would be able to combo with Kiki as well.

I tried to do WG tokens for game day but I wasn't just a huge fan personally. So I put this together after and I'm having a blast. Also, it looks it might have some legs. It looks like it was in the top 8 at GP Toronto.
