This thread is dedicated to the discussion of my latest article Warp World: The Casual Side of Things We would be grateful if you would let us know what you think, but please keep your comments on topic.
All three of them are still revealed when the random determination is made, so you will have to reveal which one was selected (i.e. your opponent will know which card was chosen).
This is also a good reason why dice should be used to make random determinations, instead of shuffling the cards and then shortcutting directly into putting one at random into your hand.
Are you positive about this? From what I've been told, the point of revealing a tutored card that has a requirement (i.e. noncreature, enchantment, or equipment and such) is to prove you met the requirements. This is also why Vampiric TutorDiabolic Tutor and Demonic Tutor don't require you to reveal the chosen card. You've already revealed the 3 creature to prove you met the requirement, so why would you have to reveal the selected card again? I don't see why there would be a problem with shuffling the cards, placing them face down and rolling a dice to choose. This would at least make the card good in the sense that now your opponent doesn't know what bomb to be expecting.
Maybe I'm advocating for this card a little to much, but I think it has potential and I'm just trying to prove it.

"Search your library for three creature cards and reveal them. If you reveal three cards with different names, choose one of them at random and put that card into your hand. Shuffle the rest into your library."
I've yet to see someone ask these questions, and I've also searched for threads about this.
1) What if I search for 3 creatures with the same name? I would assume I still get 1 of them because the clause about choosing 1 at random is obsolete since I would randomly always choose the same one
2) What if I search for 2 creatures with the same name and 1 with a different name? It says 3 cards with different names, it doesn't say they all have to be different, just that the 3 altogether have to be different.
The reason why I ask is because it just seems like there is suppose to be a loop hole here. Why not just word the card as
"Search your library for three creature cards with different names and reveal them. Choose one of them at random and put that card into your hand. Shuffle the rest into your library."
Maybe I'm crazy and overly hopeful, but I feel like this is how the card is suppose to work. It's a guaranteed tutor for a creature that your play 3-4 of and a 33-66% chance of getting your bomb depending on if you run 1 or 2. This also fits both Green (creature tutor) and red (risk for reward) perfectly.
I'm looking for a playmat with a elves on it.
More specifically I am looking for sexy, female elves.
No nudity, but something that embodies the beauty of the female body and the the intensity of elves overwhelming.
I've searched a lot online and have been unsuccessful in finding any.
If you know any that meet this description please let me know.
Thank you
My friend and I went to GP Orlando for a standard event, loved it, and decided we wanted to go to another one. Being we live in South Florida, the next closest GP was Atlanta 6 months out.
Unfortunately it was going to be legacy and we were both a little skeptical. We'd both made jokes about how stupid legacy was like "Oh man I can play legacy, all I have to do is win a dice roll right?" Even though we joked about it we were also a little intimidated by all the cards you need to know, not to mention the money (both of which aren't really true btw) Ether way we were willing to try.
Picking decks was relatively easy for us. She played burn in standard and I played elves before it rotated. She only had 1 choice of deck, burn is burn after all, and between NO Elves and Combo Elves, I figured NO Elves didn't play elves. I was still a little worried though because I hated splinter twin and I didn't want to be a combo ***, but I loved elves enough to try (oh the days of our innocence)
We proxied out our decks and 3 others (Mavrik, Stoneblade, and Zoo). Play testing was a little 1 sided as she ether crushed me or she had to watch me "learn" to combo off. As far as finishing the decks was concerned, I got lucky and a friend actually had the deck built and never was going to play it and gave it to me for $120. I still owe him, but he is cool about it. Her deck was a little harder. Most of the cards were easy enough to get, the biggest problems were fireblasts and chain lightnings which I just ordered online 2 weeks before the event. Overall at the event I went 5-4 and she went 6-3.
Now we both love legacy. Hands down if you ask us to play legacy or standard we will choose legacy. We also found a shop near us that does Legacy every Tuesday and streams it on a website. Overall it's pretty awesome, I can watch replays of myself and we have a medium meta of about 20 people that's constantly changing. 1 week we had 3 elf decks, another week was 70% control, and now majority of it is combo. It's nice because it's always keeping you and your sideboard on it's toes.
Currently I'm 10 cards from finishing dredge. She is about 7 cards away from finishing big Zoo. My next deck is going to be painter servant (yeah I know guy said he didn't want to be a combo whore and now that's all he plays =P) and she is going to build SI. Getting into legacy was def one of the best choices we have ever made.
Now that we have a large majority of the set we can make a list for each guild of the cards that could (but are not guaranteed to) appear in their pack.
These cards are all the cards with the guild watermark, excluding the "Mythic" guild spells
Thus I present to you the lists for your enjoyment.
Please remember that these are the cards that have a possibility of appearing and are not guaranteed.

Drafting is really stale when its 3x of the same set. I got into drafting after watching the guys at channelfireball draft and play the scars block. I thought it was awesome how much knowledge you had to have about all the sets to craft a functional draft deck.
Kinda just lost my interest in the format after reading that we'll be drafting 3x whatever the current set is for a least a year straight.
Try 7 months, but ok IF YOU REALLY WANT TO OVER EXAGGERATE let's talk about how "stupid easy" mana fixing is going to be with basic subtype duals + M13 duals + INN duals. Because you know I here playing decks without basic lands is easy and cheap just like legacy.
Edit: For the people who don't realize you can play a basic subtype dual land turn 1 (U/G for example) and then play a Glacial Fortress turn 2 untapped (because you control a island) and then play a turn 3 Sunpetal Grove (Because you control a forest). Sweet so I I can have double mana of one color of any 3 colors on turn 3 + 1 to spare. Almost as good as sac land fixing.

It was actually confirmed by MaRo that the guild leaders CAN appear in the packs.

Removed mythic guild spells as they have been confirmed to not be in any of the guild-only packs.
