Is there a rule against reshuffling and re-offering my deck to my opponent if I am dissatisfied with how my deck was shuffled/cut by my opponent the first time?
My friend always says that his plays get messed up because when he played back in the Onslaught block I would have to tap my creatures in order to block his. Is it true that blocking used to tap the creature or is he making excuses? Is there any site that shows the rule changes throughout the years?
Cool, thanks. Both of these came up in a edh game I was playing with my friends and a couple of randoms that wanted in on our game. It seems like everyone thinks I'm always trying to make illegal plays.
1. With Humility on the field, if a player casts Clone does it copy a creature or is it a 0/0 shapeshifter? The way I see it, Clone creates a replacement effect that occurs before it hits the field. I mainly want to know what happens to Clone when Humility leaves play.
2. If a someone plays Animate Dead can the etb trigger be responded to with a Trickbind? I was told I couldn't do it because Animate Dead isn't a creature.
A friend of mine said damage from tokens produced from commanders count toward commander damage (ex. Geist of Saint Traft), but I have not been able to find any proof. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
My friend has been playing since the Onslaught block and he still gets confused about the rules sometimes. I don't know how you can play since Onslaught and still think you need to tap to block. He also believes that excess trample damage doesn't pass through and that you can't copy spells that don't target. For example, he thinks you can't Twincast a Demonic Tutor because the tutor doesn't target.
Can I use Wild Ricochet on an opponent's Living Dead to flip the battlefield and graveyard twice? Or, in general, can I Wild Ricochet an instant or sorcery that does not target?
That's not a crazy play, that's just a plain boring way to win.
Maybe to this person it is a crazy play. Considering most of the plays here are also combos or cards being played incorrectly, I do not see why you specifically target this person's post.
Krosan Warchief
Goblin Warchief
Ragemonger
Edgewalker
Preeminent Captain
last three aren't really lords but whatever

it's kind of hard to follow what's happening without tags. reading isn't the problem.
