Doubt thats the reason. Isn't that just the proper way they format cards like this? I mean Maelstrom Wanderer doesn't have haste and give all other creatures haste its just gives all your creatures haste
I don't understand why you all want to pick a card like Armadillo Cloak over Dragonshift
I mean Cloak is cool but it can still just end in you getting two for oned while Dragonshift is basically a Overrun combined with an ok combat trick, obviously you wanna Overload it but its not terrible if you can eat a troublesome flier with it
I like him and he seems to powerful not to see play at some point
I think it is also worth nothing that since he triggers no effects when he enters the battlefield can't you just play him in Main Phase 2 then go straight to end step without passing priority they can still kill him with instant speed removal but he would have ripped their hand out anyway
I do however also worry that at 6 cost he might often come down and rip very little from your opponents hand
It's a replacement effect, not a trigger, so it works a little bit differently.
So, you start out having a single draw. You have two replacement effects active - two copies of "If you have no cards in hand, draw two cards and lose 1 life." You go to draw your card - but wait, a replacement effect wants to replace that event. One of your copies replaces it. You now have two draws (and one life loss). You go to draw the first of those two cards - but again, there's a replacement effect in the way. You still have no cards in hand - you haven't drawn one yet - so it replaces that one draw with two more, giving you three draws and -2 life. Each replacement effect can only replace an event once, so we stop here.

Also don't think this will see much major play, maybe zombies will try and make a comeback before rotation but I doubt it will and I'm not really sure of any other deck that wants him
Idk is Sire of Insanity a thing with this guy cause that might work
I like her, she can really pack a punch unfortunately I doubt she will see much play until after rotation since Falkenrath Aristocrat interacts with most cards better, Excava is only better against Lingering Souls or Tragic Slip and even then she are will good against her
But once Falkenrath is gone I wouldn't be shocked if she saw some serious play in aggro
And as for all you players claiming that Advent of the Wurm just trumps her, you are right because the aggro deck is never on the play and couldn't possibly attack with Excava before your opponent even has 4 mana and you couldn't possible just play around Advent of the Wurm by not attack cause they left 4 mana up you know its like how you can't play around Restoration Angel
Neat card probably good in limited if the format goes longer which I hope and assume it will especially since they are giving out a cycle of value 2/4s
Doubt it will see much play in constructed, there is no way its comes anywhere close things like Angel of Serenity or Craterhoof Behemoth, but I might just be crazy and this army in a can is big enough to just crush anyone
Again, that card's old. White hasn't had that efficient of a removal in over 3 years. I don't understand how the color pie is so unimportant to you if the uniqueness of all the colors is a pretty big selling point about Magic.

They really aren't that old, and while I admit this seems like a weird card to me in White its not because its a removal spell, it seems weird because its an edict effect which has never been white and punishes you as well as your opponent
The only thing about this that really seems white to me is the multicolor hate since white more then any color actually persecutes others for various reasons
Seems like an awesome sideboard card for Human Reanimator Combo
Human to work with your cavern and be brought back for value later plus it should come down before most of the spells you would want him to steal, Slaughter Games, Revelation, Unburial Rites and even just random removal or counter spells are fine to steal
seems like a pretty decent card, probably not quite as deadly a trick as Resto Angel and a much more restrictive one due to its intense mana cost but a sweet card none the less
No where near broken of course but I would be shocked if it was unplayable

Blue basically reads all your creatures are unblockable and is costed right for this effect in limited.
Green will likely get trample which will be fine but nothing amazing.
White will give vigilance or first strike both of which could prove huge in limited but won't be a big deal in constructed.
Black will give deathtouch or intimidate which again will be good in limited but not a big deal in constructed
Red will likely give haste which depends on the stats could prove insane in constructed although its possible red could give first strike

Smiter just seems like a problem for this card in general since it can trade with Sire

It disrupts your opponents hand and comes back with angel of the Glories rise to do it again, it will making disrupting the combo much harder
