Yeah, i hate it the blogs are just people putting a deck list with no explanation or anything, it is quite frustrating, there is a standard deck creation for a reason.
On another note, glad to see you are back, i look forward to reading your blogs =]

Jul 16, 2011P Funk posted a message on Illusions Primer: Keeping it Surreal.Having 2 lord of the unreal out doesn't make them a 3/3 hexproof, they are human, his just really hinders the tribe, just make them illusions.Posted in: Zelderex Blog

Jul 14, 2011P Funk posted a message on 5 Color Control, a force to reckon with?Thank you Rogue for comenting, the only problem i see with rites of flourishing is that it give my opponents CA aswell, in the aggro mu you just give them more fuel, it would be decent against control, but that is already a favorable mu. I like cultivate because if you are set back on lands you can get two and if you are color screwed you an easily fetch 2 of that color.Posted in: Double Dippin in Chandra's Halfway House

Once upon a time, a husband and a wife lived together in a part of the city separated by a river from the places of employment, shopping and entertainment. The husband had to work nights. Each evening he left his wife and took the ferry to work, returning in the morning.
The wife soon grew tired of the arrangement. Restless and lonely, she would take the next ferry into town and develop relationships with a series of lovers. Anxious to preserve her marriage, she always returned home before her husband. In fact, her relationships were always limited. When they threatened to become too intense, she would precipitate a quarrel with her current lover and begin a new relationship.
One night she caused such a quarrel with a man we'll call Lover #1. He slammed the door in her face, and she started back to the ferry. Suddenly she realized that she had forgotten to bring money for her return fare. She swallowed her pride and returned to Lover #1's apartment. But Lover #1 was vindictive and angry because of the quarrel. He slammed the door on his former lover, leaving her with no money. She remembered that a previous lover, who we shall call Lover #2, lived just a few doors away. Surely he would give her the ferry fare. However, Lover #2 was still so hurt from their old quarrel that he, too, refused her the money.
Now the hour was late and the woman was getting desperate. She rushed down to the ferry and pleaded with the ferryboat captain. He knew her as a regular customer. She asked if he could let her ride free and if she could pay the next night. But the captain insisted that rules were rules and that he could not let her ride without paying the fare.
Dawn would soon be breaking, and her husband would be returning from work. The woman remembered that there was a free bridge about a mile further on. But the road to the bridge was a dangerous one, known to be frequented by highwaymen. Nonetheless, she had to get home, so she took the road. On the way a highwayman stepped out of the bushes and demanded her money. She told him she had none. He seized her. In the ensuing tussle, the highwayman stabbed the woman, and she died.
This ends our story.
There have been six characters: the HUSBAND, the WIFE, LOVER#1, LOVER#2, the FERRYBOAT CAPTAIN, and the HIGHWAYMAN.
Please list in descending order of responsibility for this woman's death, all of the characters. In other words, the most responsible is listed first; the next most responsible, second; and so forth.
Give your reasoning.
I run a Reanimaor package so i really don't mind discarding things, and late game i don't mind discarding Bop or Sphere of suns. Im still trying to work on the deck to make her more benefitial, because if i give her a couple more outs shes solid.
It's worked for me so far but i see what your saying, i will fix it up a bit
How The Deck Works:
Card Choices
Garruk Relentless: A really powerful planeswalker, especially if he can come down on turn 3 or follow a turn 2 or 3 liliana. Provides imidiate Removal, or a solid stream of two-twos, and if you can transform him your board will become an almost instant scoop for most players.
Birds of Paradise Allows for Quick starts which means establishing board control quicker.
Thrun, the last troll Avoids sweapers, blocks almost anything, 5 turn clock by himself.
Primeval Titan Thins your deck of lands so you draw more threats or removal.
Beast Within One of the best removal Spells to date with a minor drawback can also be used for some neat tricks.
Garruk Primal Hunter A solid card, but then we have 3 5 drop walkers and that Slot becomes a little too full.
Black:
Liliana of the Veil One of the best planeswalkers printed, can come out turn 2 puts imidiate pressure on your opponent, and can remove their creatures buying time and further establishing board control.
Grave Titan Comes in with 10 power in the form of 3 bodys, at least you have 2 2/2s at the end of them removing him, but you also have ways to get him back.
Sheroled, the whisperer Almost rediculous how powerful this guy is when he comes down, if he survives your turn your opponent loses one creature, if he survives their turn you get one back and so on.
Dismember Still one of the best removal spells out there.
Go for the Throat kills almost any creatures and instant speed, i like it.
Doomblade Same as above, not to hard on mana.
Black Sun's Zenith Sweeper, comes back late game, can be used turn 3 or even turn two for 1 -1/-1 if you have a BOP out.
Unburial Rites made its Debut in Solar Flare, but now its going to be a solid card in here.
White
Gideon Jura: Powerful, buys a few turns when your in need, kills a creature when he comes in, can swing for 6.
Elspeth Tirel: comes in either gaining you some life or Creating 3 1/1 tokens, can wipe the board if a couple enchantments or artifacts are hurting you.
Day Of Judement: Kills the board, keeps your walkers, Nuff said.
Oblivion ring: Best removal printed.
Artifacts:
Solemn Simulacrum: keeps the mana flowing allowing you to cast your heavy beaters, or if your in needs of a certain color.
Wurmcoil Engine: Solid card, gains life, splits into two if killed, dodged Gofer.
Sphere of Suns: Fixes mana, Pumps you out quicker.

A pretty standard list i believe, but i made the additions of Consecrated Sphinx and Precursor Golemn Because of the advantages you gain with both of them and it Lets the deck naturally curve out, even though you are looking to curve out more slowely.
Yeah, i don't see snapcaster ever dropping, the effect he has in legacy and Vintage is incredible, i only expect him to raise in price from here.
The basic outline of this deck should be to Remove all threats layed out by the opponents, while Keeping the opponents health low with your barrage of burns spells and our favorite land, and possible finish off with a heavy beater, which We have a few of them at hand.
Red Spells
Really our best burn spell, slightly worse than lightning bolt, but it doesn't come to short.
Devil's PlayReally efficent card, you can use it early game if needed on a creature, then it comes back to either take out another or you can just send it directely to the face.
Shock1 Drop burn with 2 damage, not the best, but it works pretty good against the Aggro decks poping up.
Red Sun's Zenith Really good, similar to Devil's play, and reoccurs but at a slower rate, and you may never see it again, but on the plus it completely removes any creature it should kill, and with all of the reanimator shenans going on right now it might not be a bad idea.
Slagstorm everyones favorite card, stops all aggro decks fairly early in there tracks, and can kill existing planeswalkers.
Arc trail The ultimate two for one, when used in the aggro mu's it is extreamely powerful.
Brimstone Volley one of the best cards we have acces to right now, if you combo this with chanrda you can look at a 3 mana 10 damage, i like it.
Inferno Titan Huge beater in red, can be pumped deals a split 3 damage when he enters and attacks usually wins the if he can swing in next turn.
Chandra the Fireband
Black Spells
Doom BladeSame as above, powerful effiecent only dodged by a few creatures
Tribute to Hunger kills sword carriers, hexproofed creatures and gains you some life, can't hurt.
Geth's Verdict Same as above, but slightly less powerful due to the Double black cost and loss of life gain, should be a two two split.
Bump in the Night Ulitmate flavor card, reoccurable, accelerates your opponents clock.
Dismember Solid removal, has shown power in the previous standard.
Black Sun's Zenith Stops Aggro, late game kills all of the board and those nasty hexproofers.
Grave Titan Do i need to explain?
Olivia Voldaren Everlasting removal, can become amazing BA after a few turns being active, Has to be played at some scale.
Distress Really good to hurt the opponents gameplan
