How do you get "humans are a central theme and they have a central religion and idol of worship" and have no holidays? If Avacyn is returning, wouldn't that be cause for celebration (even if she's actually going to ruin everything and pass harsh judgment on the completely tainted peoples until Sorin tucks her back into bed)?
A R planeswalker that showcased "looting is now red" on a +/0 ability would be pretty cash, as long as it wasn't over 4cc. We'll probably just get a Firebrand reprint. Or a new Koth, which would be a bit bizarre.
A new Ajani or Gideon is probably a given. Or Elspeth 2.
A blue planewalker that fateseals OR bounces (an ultimate for Upheaval would be absolutely hilarious), but not both. Hopefully something far less deck-centric than Memory Adept, but not something along the lines of "U is an aggro color too guys!"
Nissa 2.0, there's too much Garruk in this game. A G planeswalker in general who did something besides "make tokens and/or draw/search deck" would be nice. Maybe a grave-returning effect? That's still sort of green, right?
Somebody else for B. No Sorin, no Liliana. Push Tezzeret or Sarkhan into monoblack for a short spell if you have to, WotC.
Make sure white is the cat color by making a new Ajani.
Liliana Vess reprint, and a new Nissa takes the green spot. Maybe switch Chandra or Jace out for someone different, as well.

also, tribal cards.
Reprint painlands just to piss everyone off
Legend cycle AND Avatar cycle.
Keep Solemn Simulacrum, ditch Lavamancer
Dark Confidant and Tarmogoyf at uncommon
I think two of those are dumbdiculous enough to work.
That emblem's pretty nice when you've got 3-4 Gravecrawlers waiting in the 'yard, and last I checked there were plenty of ways to make zombie tokens on the cheap.
Heck, Zombie Infestation has nice synergy with that other BW card as well
Sarcasm aside, I honestly can't see new Sorin going past his original's topmost pricepoint by more than a dollar or more
Besides his ultimate (which will NEVER happen) he generates almost zero advantage beyond chumping (Which is perfectly fantabulous against all the T4 aggro decks every color these days has, right?), and is in a pretty unpopular color scheme for standard.
Love to see him in a BW control deck, though, with the rare chance of dropping an Elesh Norn on top of multiple 3/3 bloodsuckers. It's just a shame that the instant you can drop a board sweeper, your opponent will probably have a more pertinent threat you need to answer right after you have a chance to safely play this guy.
As an aggro enabler, well, he's no Elspeth.
Guys, guys, c'mon, surely Reign of Fire comes sort of close to being a horror movie, kinda sorta? Maybe?
Seriously there's no explanation for multiple dragons in this block, much less the first one beyond "we tried to make it sort of gothic". I'd much rather see a semi-playable Devil or hell, even a giant flaming spider.
This guys sure does love all the mono-red token production in this set, th... oh, wait, nevermind.
I mean, I'm seeing a fair number of demons spoiled in B already.
Gristleband doesn't look too shabby, either.
Also, Moonfolk Planeswalker possibility is leaving me all tingly.

OK, maybe I just want to make a turbofog deck.

A+, Wizards. 10/10.
But random discard? In my standard? I'm OK with this.
