Ease and speed is kind of what I'm going for. Moreover, I'm fairly well along into mtgo as it is, this would just be put away for a rainy day or something.

I'm going to chat with my LGS I think; I understand who/what will be buying. And indeed, I'm willing to cut pretty short. These cards are a sunk cost for me at this point and any ROI would be fantastic. I'll see how that goes and then I may list on ebay as per your edited suggestion and hopefully some more people chime in.

50% of TCG min for all cards greater than a dollar in the collection I linked is around 600. Does that seem a bit too optimistic for that collection?

I posted this on the MTG subreddit as well, I'm really trying to see the best way to do this.

I'm looking to get some extra cash and switch to Magic Online. I'm simply spending too much on the paper game and not playing or enjoying it to the extent I should.

I've taken stock of the valuable bits of my collection and it's pretty substantial. on top of that there are thousands of bulk cards I have that might sell.

How do people usually go? I know ebay is popular--but how does that go if I have never sold something on ebay? Do bulk collections even move that well on ebay? Listing the singles and selling those would be exhausting as well.
How about my LGS? I'm going to go in soon and see what they have to say--indeed I would love to give them my business as they have always done right by me.

My collection covers about the last 13 years of Magic and is quite extensive, it is also in excellent condition--I've taken inventory of just about everything worthwhile... what should my next step be?

Here's the list as it is now with what I have taken inventory of. It's a TON of singles.

While I am not looking for offers quite yet, per se--if you are interested please keep it in PMs.

I expect a sub theme of artifacts or lands that represent temples to these "gods" or "titans".

Your definition of game winner is woefully misguided. Moreover, Armed//Dangerous is an admittedly fine card for limited--a fringe card in constructed. To call it the best card in the set seems a bit hasty and poorly judged.

What are people's opinions on the set now that it's been out for awhile.

Personally, I think this is one of the worst formats in recent memory. The set is just super swingy to me. The decision tree in actually playing seems so irrelevant on the whole--it's really discouraging.

There are so many cards at common and uncommon that make board interaction more or less meaningless. For example, Madcap Skills is just an infuriating card to play against in a draft. Take another common, Act of Treason. In other formats, these kinds of cards are usually your 22-23rd card or something sided in. Here it's ridiculous, I wouldn't want a gruul or boros deck without one of them. Additionally, Bloodrush takes a classic magic scenario, "Do they have the giant growth?" and trivializes it. Yes! They have the giant growth.

AVR had the problem where boards stalled and finding a blowout card was more difficult. Here, it's so easy it makes defensive strategies just too tough to deal with, which I think is a bummer for a diverse format. Limited is pretty swingy in general, but it just feels 10 times worse here.

The only deck that feels like I'm fighting for advantage/tempo is Orzhov and the dimir mill deck; even those still contain some silly blowout cards though. Regardless, when I lose to Orzhov or Dimir, I'm not nearly as infuriated.

This is probably the first time I enjoy sealed more than draft. In sealed your deck's consistency goes way up and dealing with those potential blowouts is a lot easier.

Anyway, that's my thoughts on the format--I just don't enjoy the swingy nature; I feel like it trivializes my decisions when I lose to Spell X that completely changes the game state...

I'm really disliking the format as well.

Boros is just too strong, 3 people can force it and all have great decks. The best bombs, commons, and uncommons are all white or red; coupled with arguably the best removal suite of the guilds as well (Orzhov is probably better though in that regard). Every deck seems to curve just perfectly and even if I have a "good" game I just always fold to the boros deck.

I did win a prerelease on MTGO, but only because I didn't play ANY boros decks on the way to the last round. Their access to commons like Syndic of Tithes, Mugging, and Madcap Skills just really seem to mess with me. The Syndic helps provide them with semi abnormal reach, Mugging is pretty sweet, and Madcap skills... T1 dude, T2 madcap skills just sucks!

It's pretty early to judge of course, but I feel really disheartened right now. My best non-boros decks all fold to boros. My worst Boros decks have rolled over most competition, except for the "better" boros decks ~.~

I'm a champ at pulling Havoc Festival, I've pulled 6. About half of all the RTR packs I've opened outside of draft.

I got a response from the misprint guy, he said 3-4$ was reasonable for junk with miscuts like that. So the charm and reckoner are probably worth some and the rest falling squarely under "junk" I would think.

Yes. I have seen this quiet a bit when looking at miscuts. You can post over on the market street forum and someone might be able to give you some insight on the value.

I might just do that, thanks for the suggestion.

I was looking at some miscuts, there are square border miscuts that have happened, but that's usually all four corners. Has anyone seen just the one side before?

Hi guys, thought I'd share these somewhat unique pulls from the prerelease last night.

Every card in my guild pack, save for the promo, was miscut and contained squared edges on the right side:

    Here's some pictures:

I also had a few questions about them; from what I've been told these aren't legal in tourney play. Would they be OK at FNM though? Also, what does this type of miscut do to the value.

Umm, your land count? With 6 drops? Not a chance :3 I'm not sure I really believe you came in second with a control list and only 16 lands.

Assuming you fix the lands (you'll want 24, at least)

Nivmagus is a really weird card, it's a 2/3/4 for 1 waiting to happen, except it's even worse as you get no use out of the 2/3/4 card. It has no evasion or protection either really.

It's kind of similar to the one I've been running online:

    http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=471202

I think, save for the nivmagus elementals, I'm actually going to alter mine to what you have here, maybe with some other alterations.

I think Snapcaster mage seems like a perfect fit in this deck. I think architect of thought is good, but memory adept seems out of place and doesn't fit with your plan--I think Runechanter's pike as "reach" is a bit better. You can put it on snaps, delver, etc.

I understand Snaps are kind of expensive, especially on paper. Unfortunately there are no substitutes for the card in standard. Augur of Bolas can fill the void probably, but you would definitely want the snaps.

Also, those geistflames should just be izzet charms. If not 2, then 3 or 4. Izzet Charm is really strong.

Thunderous wrath is an excellent card here and I'm going to put it in my deck :3. It makes izzet charm even stronger though. If you get a good hand, but it has a wrath in it, you can filter it away if you want.
