there aren't prizes. with this deck I have not won any yet. It needs a bit of work. Or I just really need to be taught how to play a control deck. It seems pretty self explanatory though.
Yeah.. he just doesn't have enough of an impact on the board. Elspeth, Sun's Champion is really good and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker is good as well. Jace only makes your next draw a little bit better and doesn't give you a card. If he did that would probably be worth it. Have I won anything with the deck or like prizes with cockatrice?
So I loaded the newest version of your deck up in cockatrice and played a couple post rotation games with it. I'm fairly new to control so I probably didn't have the most perfect games but got some really good experience. I went 0-2 both games. first was temur monsters. game two was jeskai control. I will post more later because I need sleep but some major things that I found was that there are not nearly enough threats. we were simply outplayed by too many guys that had hexproof and we didn't have enough sweepers to keep them away until they just beat on us. game one was sagu mauler and game two was prognostic sphinx. A couple cards to consider- mainboarding crackling doom seems very good and probably a 3 of as well as dissolve. The charms can definitely go to 2 each and dissolve should be considered because it wrecked us in game two. I also ran into a really big problem hitting my black land drops in game two leaving mardu charm and hero's downfall dead cards until the second to last turn esp since the lands come in tapped. Possibly try going half pain lands and half tap lands. Scry lands are very good too. They were very helpful. I feel like scry is so important in this deck as well as card draw. I also think we could seriously consider putting 2 keranos, god of storms in he was amazing.
So if one would want to make a tokens deck post rotation what do you think would be the best way to go about it? What colors would you use? What complications do you see a tokens deck running into with the cards that will be available (Bile Blight, Drown in Sorrow)? What would be some key cards that you think would have to be included for it to be the most competitive? I was inspired by a few things to try to brew this up. 1. the new Sorin. 2. Abzan's +1/+1 counter creature passive buffs. 3. Flames of the Firebrand, Mizzium Mortars, and Ratchetbomb are all rotating. Here is a breif list of some ideas I came up with off the top of my head.
Not to be obnoxious, but I think the forum rules ask that new card discussion go in the Standard New Card Discussion forum (until Wizards posts the full spoiler). You might get more feedback there also. I wonder whether you mean Raise the Alarm rather than "Sound the Alarm"
I do mean Raise the Alarm. and I'll see about moving it. Thanks.

So if I wanted to go about making the best tokens deck available using only cards that we can see will be available after rotation how do you think one would go about it? What would be some core cards you wold need and what colors/lands would you use? I feel like white has the best tokens cards in general. What do you guys think? (I am asking this because the new Sorin, Dragon Throne, and Herald of Anafenza have inspired me to try and brew up tokens back into standard again.) Here is a small list of cards that I think could be viable possibly.

Triplicate Spirits
Sorin, Solemn Visitor
Dragon Throne of Tarkir
Temple of Silence

Herald of Torment?
Brimaz, King of Oreskos?
Ashen Rider?
Dictate of Heliod?
Dictate of Erebos?

(This has black in it simply because I would really like to see the new Sorin work in the deck as well.)
Please take into consideration what you think the meta will look like post rotation and how this deck would fit into it.
So I decided for the fist time tonight to try MODO finally after years of pushing it off. As you can see my Nickname on Curse is TheSaltyPilgrim. If you look for me on other places you'll find my username to be the same in a lot of places. League of Legends and Steam for instance. Now. I have never to this day encountered anyone anywhere on the internet that has this same name.. except for tonight... or so I thought. I have tried every combination of random characters before or after the word "pilgrim" and no matter what I try the name is "unavailable". eg. "aewgpilgrimsdgb" "Pilgrimbabdf" "24pilgrim3h4h5k" "ghPiLgRiM38902dd" (You get the idea) In any case- after some more tinkering I have discovered that the real trigger word is "rim" if you try to make any username with the word rim in it the name "is already taken".
Is there anything else that you would board it against? Also, do you guys think that Surgical Extraction and Torpor Orb are worth running SB? I love the orb in our current meta right now since it shuts down so many goodies in other decks (EVERY Soul Bond, 1/2 of Titans, Snaps, Resto Angel, Stone Horn... to name a few) . I board out the champ if I put the orbs in. But other than that, the champs are the only thing in my deck that the orb hurts.
to the list of potentials
I only included black and white because of Sorin. if it turns out that other colors would be better then so be it.

My question to you fine folk-
Why?
