Yeah, you would need two creatures in order to do it with the greaves but that give me an idea as to what I could possibly do with a deck I just need a bunch of guys with the "Whenever this creature becomes the target of a spell or ability do X"
I tried it as a jpg just to see that it didn't look right. But the thing is the .png file is to large, and while trying to host it on a site it still won't take it because the file size is to large for the forums, I need a way to maintain the quality and transparency with the image.
Personally I think just a nonland would work. I don't think it will be over powerful but it also let's you have more versatility
Okay, it shall be:
+1: Discard a card. If a black card is discarded this way, target player reveals his or her hand and you choose a nonland card from it. That player discards that card
+1: Discard a card. If a black card is discarded this way, target player reveals his or her hand and you choose a creature card from it. That player discards that card
-2: Until end of turn, creatures you control gain deathtouch and whenever a creature you control deals damage to an opponent, that player discards a card.
-6: Exile all creature cards in each graveyard. Put X X/X black Horror creature tokens onto the battlefield, where X is equal to the amount of creatures exiled this way.
I chose Despise because it helped her Ultimate more and seemed better fit. Should I got w/ that?
First, let me say thank you for not using the Crucible/Strip Mine combo. Another good friend of the Crucible is Glacial Chasm.
Haha, Strip Mine+Crucible seems funny, but I won't use it. Ghost Quarters is good enough for me because I can kill a land of theres and then kill the land they bring out thus killing all the lands in there deck.
I can see how Glacial Chasm would be useful (sort of) but please explain? Would you just not pay the upkeep cost everyturn?
Imo, you have a problem once your library lacks any forest due to tutoring or sacrificing. In my landfall deck, I use 2-3 Loaming Shaman to reuse my graveyard (great thing about him: you choose the cards which you want to shuffle back and which ones should stay). And I'd up the count of forests to at least 12.
I could do that. And I only start sacrificing when I have Crucible of Worlds out so I can bring it back into play later but I see why having them shuffled back would be good. What 4 cards should I rid of for the Loathing Shamans and Forests?
I'm not much of a R/W guy and not that intelligent in the ways of EDH but why not try a Balefire Liege? He's fun! I loved him when I tried R/W. GL with you're deck!
I wasn't around for Guildpact but I can only Imagine! I've seen quite a few EPIC cards from it.
Back on topic: This Thread is kind of old, I would've let it sit. But if there is anything that any red deck should carry are Lightning Bolts. I demand that they be in a red deck. I love 'em!
The only thing I could think of is Balefire Liege and please oh please run x4 Lightning bolt... I gotta love the bolts :D. And if your going to go mono go red first, it's a crap load of fun :D. LIGHTNING BOLT TO THE FACE.
What you do is that you play the Crucible of Worlds as quickly as possible and use terramorphic expanse so you can get 2 land drops a turn, getting out as many lands as you can as quickly as possible while pumping out stuff like Rampaging Baloths or Feral Hydra.
Rampaging Baloths: If I have an Oracle of Mul Daya in play and a terra in my graveyard I get minimum 4 4/4s a turn. It's just freakishly hilarious, even if you don't have terra that's 2 4/4s a turn which is hilarious.
Avenger of Zendikar: You can create PLENTY of little token guys with your Khalni Gardens and when those come into play you gain a +1/+1 for all your little plants and another plant, plus landfall for the rest of your guys.
Oracle of Mul Daya: I can play more lands every turn (big plus in this deck) and can see what's next to play, how can I not include this?
Khalni Hydra: In there purely for beatdown purposes and it is fairly easy to bring out, plus what's wrong with a freaking 8/8!
Feral Hydra: Well, the mana from Lotus and all my lands has to go somewhere doesn't it? And it hilarious to swing out with a big guy and watch my opponents cower in fear!
Lotus Cobra: Awesome mana producer here, I can play my Khalni Gardens as if I were playing a regular old forest with a 0/1 plant on the side.
Ambush Commander: Fun to have a whole lot of little Elves, and another useful sac outlet which is always good.
Arcane Spyglass: YAY FOR DRAWING XD, and aswell another sac outlet.
Crucible of Worlds: Key card in this deck, allows me to play them from my graveyard so I can repeatedly play every turn.
Seer's Sundial: Look at Arcane Spyglass except take out the part about the sac outlet.
Zuran Orb: Sac outlet and life.
Exploration: More lands a turn, self explanatory.
Khalni Heart Expedition: Good for grabbing lands early on. I probably should find a replacement for them.
Harrow: A way to sac lands and grab more.
Harmonize: Card advantage is always good.
Scapeshift: Another way to sac and grab more.
Ghost Quarter: Land Destruction is fun always right? Right?
Khalni Garden: Put's in 0/1's and is what I sac constantly after I have all my basics.
Terramorphic Expanse: Allows me to bring out many lands.
Forest: It's a freaking basic land...how much more epic can you take?!?
Hmmm...I've really got very little idea as to what she could do but not sure how to phrase it, here goes:
-1 Creatures you control gain deathtouch until end of turn. Those creatures as well gain the following until of turn "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to an opponent they discard a card."
Would that be good? And would it be worded right? It might be a bit good because it's either they sacrifice there creatures to block or they discard and take damage, it's kind of good. It would as well have pretty good synergy with cards like Liliana's Caress or Sangromancer or even Geth, Lord of the Vault , but of course there's plenty more. What would be quite hilarious would be Liliana's and Sangromancer at the same time. What to discard, lose 2 life, and have me gain 3 life or sac a creature and let me gain 3 life? You choose XD.
I really like it but it seems just a 'lil bit OP.
Edit: Eek the file is to big for siggy What should I do?

Play test it there, you'll see :D. It works awesomely. Plus, Terra and Crucible work quite well. I sac fetch, bring back. It's fun.
The problem is I don't have very many lands that I actually draw into and put into my hand.
I could do that. And I only start sacrificing when I have Crucible of Worlds out so I can bring it back into play later but I see why having them shuffled back would be good. What 4 cards should I rid of for the Loathing Shamans and Forests?
It's not a joke, you play test it and see, it's fairly good. I should however bump up the forest count to 12.
