playing a marvel deck you quickly realize you need an alternate gameplan. Its too inconsistent to rush marvel/drazi even with tons of puzzleknots and scry and what not. I made many lists. This is what I settled on. Its more like marvel midrange. Mind you, I still drop an eldrazi turn 4 very often and the game is over, but you need to plan other ways to win. Verdurous Gearhulk can stop aggro (our worst matchup) dead in its tracks sometimes. I love Aether meltdown so much I put 2 mainboard.
lands: I cut lumbering falls as I never want a tapped land and the animate 3/3 is almost never relevant in this deck. Instead I went with more basics and 2 westvale abbey, which is awesome when the board stalls out and nobody is doing much. With 4 attune with aether maindeck, 22 lands seems to be the best number I've tried, and with that card, you dont need evolving wilds or lumbering falls.
I'm still on the fence about tireless tracker. I may take him out and go back to using glint-nest crane. That card is much better when running lots of puzzleknots however. It is nice when he grabs you a gearhulk late game, though.
Overall the deck is so much fun, and I'm liking where it is going. I hope aether revolt continues the energy trend, it seems like a mechanic that would be included in both sets of a block.
oh and Confiscation Coup is a very underrated card and can win games out of nowhere. OH and PSA: remember aetherworks marvel's first ability triggers itself, so playing a second one will net you 2 energy when you sac one. I've used this in a pinch when I reveal nothing but a marvel on first marvel use then I had 4 energy. Drop 2nd marvel and go again!
in regards to kaladesh... is anyone going to try out panharmonicon? when 90% of our creatures have etb's it seems pretty damn good.... although I hate trying to find room for a non-creature permanent with cmc 4+
maybe it only belongs in roon alongside conjurer's closet
im using the list above, except 2 sidisi, undead vizier instead of 2 tasigur. its having good results on cockatrice. I usually get kicked after 1 win, never even finishing the match if its 1-1.
Well, the main issue against the Ezuri deck is that he can regenerate or out-pump wraths very easily since his deck is 60% mana dorks. BSZ and Deluge are the only real answers to that deck.
I run Black sun's zenith in the main.
against elfball I bring in Drown in Sorrow, Perish, Phyrexian Revoker, Toxic Deluge, and Pernicious Deed. Its not that hard to deal with
highlights from recent sets
walking ballista - infinite mana win
rishkar's expertise - just plain good sometimes
nissa, vital force - basically free if u untap a forest to make a 5/5 to use with selvala
and i feel like in any mono green deck I will run hall of gemstone. some people scoop to it immediately

not as good as hangarback but is more efficient of a token maker, albeit without flying. something to consider
4 Arashin Cleric is pretty awesome vs monored. I think i also put in end hostilities/doomwake giant and took out mogis marauders and sidisi
