DemigodOfRevenge: Very parasitic. I don't like it much for that reason. Body's decent without abilities so it's probably fine, but feels bad. Second active is a bit on the edge of colour pie - white does have burn now, but it's not Sunlance. netn10: Very interesting use of freeze, but most of the time you'd untap it so you can cast spells. Vigilance is a very nice touch to encourage freezing, though. bravelion83: Cool use of snow mechanic, 'progenitor' flavour is good. No real complaints. IcariiFA: Canyon depths = not flying, nice. Card is works with itself nicely since you can block fliers and sting ground attackers. Clicks well. glurman: That is certainly an interesting ability, but why is it permanent? Seems like it could cause some rules confusion. Not sure if they stack either. RickyRister: Is it missing a power and toughness? Seems weak; takes a lot of cost to ramp up to just being a Prodigal Pyromancer.
Svustr, of Molten Steel3RG
Legendary Creature - Human Barbarian (M)
Trample
Svustr, of Molten Steel has protection from snow as long as it's equipped. 2R, Sacrifice an Equipment attached to Svustr: Deal 7 damage to target snow permanent.

Hemlock: A nice mirrored mechanical design. Bit all over the place flavourfully (why Ox?). Moss_Elemental: Clean. Nice flavour. Can't complain about power level or complexity either. Koopa: Simple, solid design. Could be quite powerful as a common in limited, but that's very dependent on the format's amount of snow creatures. willows: "Bird Wolf"? Interesting. Looks a bit strong (mythic uncommon status) since it has evasion, but I might just be overestimating how easy its ability is to activate. Todris052: This is nice. Interesting ability, beautiful flavour tie-in. I'm not sure if it needs to be blue. void_nothing: Alpha's den type deal? Solid implementation of a top-down design. Flavour text is fun.
Groundscourger3G
Creature - Eldrazi(U)

Frostbear Rider2RR
Creature - Human Warrior (U)
Haste 1G, Exile a creature card from your graveyard: Frostbear Rider gets +1/+1 and gains trample until end of turn.

glurman: Complicated mechanic which isn't necessarily super clear. It means at the same time, right? I don't think it's too complicated to go on uncommons, even if it's a bit situational. Card itself is pretty cool though, kinda like a reviving Vampire Nighthawk. Todris052: I think it's decently safe to say this meets the P/T challenge, considering the unlikeliness of eating a 0/1. Mechanic seems extremely powerful to have all that text at once, especially if it has no limit (let's grab a Phyrexian Juggernaut?). I honestly don't see many other cards with a mechanic working like that. Hemlock: This is a very good defender. It can block anything, and it'll kill everything it can't tank. That said, it 'only' tanks most creatures without a large mana investment, so it's not THAT good... I'm still unsure as to its power level, to be honest.
Glorious ObliteratorRBW
Creature - Elemental (M)
Haste, vigilance
Whenever Glorious Obliterator is dealt damage, sacrifice it. If you do, it deals that much damage to target creature or player.

fallenonme]: Strictly better Mountain with legendary for a 'downside' is considered Not Good Design these days. As a result, I'd be hesitant to print it, especially considering the Legendary downside might not even BE a downside on this card.
joekinguyr: Seems good. Not breakable, I reckon, since it's kind of maybe drawing extra cards, but the body is small and it doesn't cheat mana. Probably too strong in terms of card advantage though.
glurman: Heh, exciting. Sounds like it's for casual players; probably brings about some ridiculous combo that I can't even properly think of.
Koopa: This is kind of crazy. Cost is prohibitive, and will limit what you can cast with it, and life cost does scale with spell, but this is nutsy. I dunno if there are any exceedingly crazy spells with colour-only costs but I'd be worried if there were. As an aside, it should be spelt "Compleation"
In my experience, it's just been that the finals have been mostly two people, so a 'gentleman's agreement' for both participants to vote for the other was the same as voting for themselves. Since there's a 4-way vote here, I don't think that kind of arrangement can be organised, so it'd be better for everyone to just cast a normal vote.
It's hard though. I'm not sure if I should consider the quality of the theme/archetype, or just the cards.

...I don't get how judging is going to work. Do you dock points if you think it's OP? Or do you dock points if you think it's underpowered because it might actually BE underpowered? Or do you only give good marks if it takes you a while to figure out how OP it is, or can only conclude "may be strong"? 2hard
