Exactly right. Mox Diamond is a Reserved List card that was printed nearly 20 years ago, with a small reprint in FTV: Relics over 7 years ago. Supply will never change from where it is now (assuming no changes to the Reserved List), and the card does see some play in Legacy. Any uptick in buying for a card like this will cause a spike that isn't likely to reverse itself.

Nope, not the draft-specific rares, as those were in their own slots.

I was bored this weekend, so I purchased a sealed box of Conspiracy: Take the Crown from my LGS. Didn't have high expectations, just wanted to have a little fun cracking packs. For $80, it wasn't a huge deal. The first pack contained a single Mythic. The next two were nothing special. After that, things got strange. I started opening packs that had only one Uncommon slot and three Rare slots. Those two extra Rare slots contained Mythics, but not the same two. I opened one pack that had three Mythics (two in the extra Rare slots and one in the normal Rare slot). There were also two packs that had two Uncommon slots and two Rare slots (with the extra Rare slot containing a Mythic). All told, the box contained 38 Mythics. I pulled at least two of every Mythic (not including Conspiracies), and I pulled up to four of a couple of them (including Leovold). No foil Mythics, but there were three foil Rares as well.

Has anyone seen this before? I have never heard of such a thing, but I can't be the only one who has seen this. If there was some promotion that I missed, where WOTC did this intentionally, please let me know. Not bragging here, just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this.

I don't use the ring binders, so I will just comment on the non-ring style that I like - the Ultimate Guard Xenoskin Zipfolios. They come in sizes up to 4x4 pages, and they have proven to be very durable. Card protection is great and they are easy to store and transport.

I don't think she is nearly good enough to warrant play in this deck. I think she fits best in a deck that can vial her in, like DnT. She hoses certain strategies, but we have to cast her as normal, which gives them time to answer her.

Because not every Mythic can be a staple card, that's why. There always have to be a couple of Mythic clunkers. Remember Comet Storm?

Thanks. I agree with you, it should have been a simple return due to condition, but he went out of his way to mention my profile and shift blame from his not inspecting the card to my profile. Then, he blocked me.

I also agree that people with seventeen conditions in their profile are a pain, and I tend to avoid them. I don't have time to make sure that I only use a specific type of tape or only tape in a specific place. I try to keep my profile clean and just lay out the bounty, talk about postage, and reiterate Puca's policy on card condition. I don't expect Gem Mint, just NM (and I know what NM means).

Had my first real douchebag experience on Puca this past week (been on Puca for well over a year). Had a guy send me a foil FS Narcomoeba. When I received it, it had a shuffle crease that was clearly visible on the back without close inspection. I opened a case and added pictures to show the damage. I asked to return the card. His response was "Well, this is a self-fulfilling prophecy. I should have known when I read your uninviting profile." My profile says a few things:

    1. It spells out my 12% bounty on all my Wants and lets people know that they won't receive it if they can't ship on time.
    2. It asks that all cards be NM as that is what Puca specifies in their rules.
    3. It asks that people use adequate postage due to the fact that I have received more than 50 envelopes that were Postage Due.

That's it. Nothing goofy or strange. No special requests. I replied to the guy and asked him what was so uninviting about that? He seems to think that the trade problem was due to my profile and not to his failure to inspect the card before sending. He admitted that he didn't look at the back of the card, and that he never checks the card backs before sending. He then cancelled the trade and blocked me. And, this guy is a Silver member (which used to mean something).

Does anyone see anything I did wrong here? I can't figure out how someone could be that delusional.

"Flexible" is a relative term. The covers are plenty sturdy for tossing into a backpack. I carry mine that way all the time.

I have been using the Ultimate Guard Zipfolio binders for quite a while now, and they are great. I use the 9 pocket version for a trade binder and the 16 pocket version for my collection. The bigger binder doesn't fit well in a backpack, so the smaller version is my preference.

That worked, thank you. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out where to look for that number.

How do I link my public Puca profile on Reddit?

Sorry for the dumb question, but I just started using Reddit, and I want to make sure to link my public profile and not to the edit Profile page.

If you aren't currently using the Goblin Guides, I would cash them in now. I put the chance of a reprint in EMA at over 50% (7 year old card, single printing, applicability in multiple formats). Sure, the reprint may not happen, but how much higher will GG go if it is not reprinted?

It only delays them a turn, so it doesn't really help. It is not worth the SB slots for any deck.

Absolutely agreed. This is a completely Standard-driven price spike. If you have copies that aren't being used, dump 'em now.
