I'm currently updating my cube to a powered 540ish cube. While doing this I've realized I need to add in more dual lands. I have decided to give each guild 2 additional dual lands, instead of including all filters or scry etc. So In addition to the duals, shock, fetches, and worldwake manlands, which are the best by guild. Currently this is what I think.
Azorius - Bounce, Scry
Boros - Pain, Filter (WW spells can be hard to cast on 2)
Dimir - Bounce, Scry
Golgari - Scry, Filter (I try to give black mostly filters due to some prohibitive mana costs)
Gruul - Pain, M10 (Thinking Copperline Gorge may be better here, but G/R wants to ramp so often, and it seems bad there)
Izzet - Filter, Scry
Orzhov - Filter, Scry ( I feel Isolated Chapel may be better here than the scry land, as B/W is often somewhat aggro and wants to cast is spells on time. It's tough)
Rakdos - Filter, Pain
Selesnya - Horizon Canopy, Pain (Razorverge Thicket really may be better than Brushland here)
Simic - Filter, Bounce (Simic has the most ways to untap lands, which makes me what to include Simic Growth Chamber)
Unexpectedly absent seems like an auto include. WW to griptide a non land permenant seems very good. Also being able to bury it in their library is alot of upside.
I haven't read this whole thread, and if there has been discussion on this card i apologize, but I feel like Cloudfin Raptor is very good. in blue aggro a 1/2 flyer on turn 2 and 2/3 on turn 3 seems pretty good. Anyone else have thoughts?
Does no one like loxodon smiter? i tested that card and it was verrrry good in g/w. mana dork into that guy is powerful.
also mizzium mortars performed very well in testing. was happy with it in mid rang and control. played it in a jund deck and it was one of the better cards. flame wave/flame slash were both very relevant.
If you look at his eBay history you will find he was selling alot of cards. Wouldn't his friends or employers know that he was doing this on the side? It isn't something you try to hide. So it seems this could have been going on for a long time.
TSG has a pimped and foiled out cube worth well over 20k. (beta power and duals). This theft could not have come from the need of money as he easily could have sold his cube to make up the money for whatever he needed.
The statement says he changed his eBay account 2 years ago, which leads me to believe he was planning to do something like this, or has been doing it for awhile.
I am cutting signets from my cube for a few reasons, but want to replace some of them with other mana stones. I'm looking for a list of all the 2 cmc mana stones, if anyone knows where i can find one. thanks.
I remember there was a thread that listed the amount of times cards showed up in certain sized cubes. For example it listed all the cards in every 450 sized cube by color and had a number next to each card (80x swords to plowshares etc). I used that to build my original list. I was wondering if that still existed and if someone could link me to it. Thanks

Hellrider -> Man does red really need another 4 drop? Can not decide what to cut. What is everyone else doing about this guy.
Strangleroot Geist -> Viridian Emissary
Wolfbitten Captive -> Twinblade Slasher
Vorapede -> Kodama of the North Tree
New Sorin -> Gerrard's Verdict or Stillmoon. Verdict is worse, but there arent that many discard spells in cube.
I think he is definitely better than slasher, wild dogs, and jaguar. I don''t run jaguar, as one drops with echo are awful if you don't have a bunch of one drops. Looks like I will be cutting slasher for this guy.
