Seems like you need to cut cartel aristocrat for goblin bombardment. Probably 3x Goblin Bombardment and 1x more stoneforge. Cabal therapy needs to be in the board and run as a one of. Without other forms of discard the therapy will be dead (yeah, flashback's there, but I'd rather just use that token to swing ASAP) and Thoughtseize will pick out threats better and more efficiently. Maybe add a burning wish-board (Just a thought)?
I thinks this deck angle needs to be explored more. Yes slivers can produce mana and can abuse Athervial. Armageddon seems like a natural fit, the only problem is mutavault becomes a dead card.
The feel for the deck that I am going for is dropping a Goblin Electromancer and being able to ramp out cards on turn three and four. Talrands Invocation fits this nicely, but I feel as if it could be replaced by something just a bit better. Guttersnipe is used to give every counterspell and bolt the extra umph it needs to get by, and the 2/2 body is nice as well. I am also wondering if a black splash would be the thing that gives this deck the kind of gas it needs with cards such as Dark Confidant, but I feel that splashing more colors would just stretch the mana base too thin to use electromancer to his full use.
Any suggestions?
Do you think wizards would ever strip themselves of the restricted printing list if legacy was ever in the position of crumbling? I know they think of it as a contract, but it isn't legally binding and doesn't really hold any power at all. I also do know that collectors will get a rustlin' in their jimmies if WotC ever decides to reprint.
I just think that eventually that list will be gone, and the cards (dual lands, lions eye, etc.) will be back, but not in the standard format either. I think From the Vault or maybe a kind-a expensive dual deck containing 1 split land or a lions eye will pop up, but that will be a long time and legacy will have to be on the brink (aka vintage).
It's the only way I see legacy staying alive, as newer players usually won't pay (in the future, of course) 200$ for an underground sea and then get whipped by some other deck in a tournament.
But is the legacy market collapsing at this current moment? Yo-yoing, yes, collapsing? No. Or at least I hope not.
Btw, this is all pretty much out from my head, maybe someone else will have a better take on this situation than I have at the current moment.
No, because the card creature that was there and the creature that is there now are considered two separate entities according to the game. The target for Path is gone, even if a new creature that looks just like it is also in play.
Miracle doesn't interact favorably with card draw.
Yeah, but think about sensei's divining top and brainstorm. Those both work well with it. I should have said "rearrange library" I apologize for the confusion.
I have to have a pretty resounding "meh" right now. The fact that it gives +6/+6 and trample is nice, but green usually doesn't have any card draw associated with it, and in standard there are even less cantrips for green. I think this card would've been better if it searched your library for a green creature and plopping him on the field, but as of right now the card is just a janky rare.
EDIT: Should have said "rearrange library", my bad.
I am sort of confused by the cards that blink things and bring them back immediately. If I did this on a creature that was about to be path'd wouldn't the path still be able to hit it because once the card resolves the creature is on the battlefield again, and the path still has a target? I am confused :/
Hey guys, I have been eyeing this kind of deck for a while. I like the control that U/W brings, but also the versatility that I can get from the little monsters that come about from mostly blue. So, to not go into much more detail, here is my deck idea.
I was thinking that the invisible stalker would be the best thing to kill the opponent when I had them locked, or even when the lock didn't show up. I thought of using swords, but went with trepanation blade instead as it stacks better with the stalker and in itself can be an alt-win con. I don't know how the early game would go (hopefully well), but I have thought that the mana leak would keep me afloat until I hit the Solemn Simulacrum. The Moorland Haunts allow me to use dead Stonehorn Dignitarys and turn them into Trepanation Blade wielders or Baneslayers (with the help of Angelic Destiny). I am not sure if I should add Day of Judgement or not. Any advice on a sideboard would be amazing as well.
Any advice and constructive criticism would be helpful, and thank you for reading!
That deck looks really fun to play! Nothing like taking junky cards like Pus Kami and making them work! Just the other day, I was going through my folder and saw a foil Fold Into Æther and thought: "Holy crap, this card is usel......" and then it dawned on me that I could counter my own spells.... I got deck making, trialled it on Magic Workstation... It's legacy legal, and it wins roughly 90% of the time, by tutoring everything I need early on, and by turn four, I Fold my own Ornithopter (much to the dismay of my opponent who thought he foiled me with a Ethersworn Canonist)and biff an Emrakul or a Ulamog into play. At this point, my opponent usually RQ's
Anyway, I would like to see another deck utilising niche cards such as Fold into AEther, or perhaps Retether to do broken interesting things!
Hey, I think I am going to steal that deck idea. And so I shall be hated at my local meta.
Shouldn't Thorn of Amethyst be replaced with Thalia because she can be vial'd in through Armageddon?
The cards that I do know I want are:

Anything else besides commander seems silly...
