Inventory Management bugs me, not because it's a poor effect, but because it's not really a part of Fallout, but instead any video game in general. They just created a card, based on a chore you do with your UI. They may as well have made a card called Load Screen or Unskippable Cutscene.
New treefolk-like creatures of the desert... Cactusfolk. Interesting... I just hope they don't get the treefolk subtype and get their own subtype. But since they did that w/ Selkies, I wouldn't bat an eye if they did (just be disappointed.
If anything they'd likely just be "plant <class>" rather than a new type, at least that would be the smarter design rather than a new type that won't get any support or mean anything past this set.
It just particularly bugs me because Kaladesh has a great and original looking aesthetic when a lot of the recent magic sets look either generic or like derivative cosplay settings. Just a shame they don't focus more on their own original stuff like that.
Agreed, I'd prefer them working on developing their worlds/characters more. A shame that they are leaning into UB more and I know they'll continue doing it more and more.
I can't get over the commander energy cards are going to be ******* Fallout and not Kaladesh themed... ******* hell.
That's one aspect of UB that bugs me, that some design spaces are put into this instead of normal Magic sets. It really does feel like UB gets preferential treatment nowadays.
Just a faster Estrid. I know nothing about Fallout outside of bottlecaps and 76 being atrocious, but having two abilities of a planeswalker without having to pick between them just seems a bit much.
The final card is...Voracious Hydra. It's just under $5. That puts the total reprint value at around $17, so only buy this if you need the cards or really like the art.

Which is funny because we've had Secret Lairs with PWs in costumes.
And if you need the card(s) just buy the singles. The art for these may be amazing, but this is just another lame Secret Lair.
