So instead of making new Legacy decks, I have decided to make a theme deck based on Harry Potter. I came across this idea when I found the card: Stormscape Familiar. That's obviously Hedwig. Then I came across cards like Scar and whatnot, and I couldn't resist the idea. I need some help finding some cards to fit the characters. I'm guessing snape can be some vampire of sorts, and that dumbledore can be like Apprentice Wizard or something. I also need a Harry, Ron and Hermoine. D: Last but not least, I shall be using the land Wizards' School.

I cut both Standstill and Daze and haven't looked back.

    What did you add instead?

It depends on whose turn it is. When you destroy Vigor, it and Mimic Vat will trigger simultaneously. The active player will put the trigger they control on the stack first, and it will resolve last.

So, if it's your turn, you don't get to take Vigor.

I'm a tad confused. I thought any creature hitting the graveyard could be imprinted on the mimic vat, regardless of the turn. Like, its your opponents turn, they swing with a wurmcoil, which I lightning bolt twice. I can imprint the wurmcoil can't I? What's the difference between that and this situation?

I have a similar deck, and I run mill and burn and a win condition. I can first turn mill myself for 4 or 5 cards, giving me a graveyard to start with. I also find Ideas Unbound is a really good card. Draws 3, then lets you toss whatever you want into the grave. Land destruction + an active ascension is also really nice, both late game, and early to slow your opponent down.

i like ink eyes too, but i would not go 3 colors or replace white with black because black has less utilities with ninjutsu. thanks though. Kekeke

@ sparki: spellstutter is only good if you have bitterblossom, without it, i think it is just situational. and im not going situational with this deck, but i'll try....

its making me think to rather use black than white. lol

Not true. The ability to do a turn 2 cloud of faeries into two open mana for a spellstutter is awesome. Also, when you swing with a spellstutter, you can ninjutsu, and get your "counter" back to your hand.

I really like Aether Vial in this deck too. I'm also running two Riptide Labs for my SpellStutters.

This is the reason stern proctor is in the deck. He can bounce something like mage AND hes not limited to creature targets, like humility for example. Usually you run stern proctor over something like shriekmaw.

Stern proctor can't bounce mage. Enchantments and Artifacts only.

To Sparki, cards like Meddling Mage are why I run Conflagrate and Magma Jet in my list. Conflagrate can be especially useful because it lets you flashback and dump any combo cards you might have accrued in your hand that need to be in the grave while also nuking any creatures that prevent you from winning.

Solid budget lists are tougher to build because (well depending on how budget you are going for) you don't have the benefit of as powerful a mana base. This is why I run U/r unlike other lists.

I liked shriekmaw because I can tutor for it. I'll try out Conflagrate too.

So I put a budget deck together recently, and I realized this deck has nothing to kill off creatures. Meddling mage calling one of my pieces really just tore my deck apart. I'm thinking of finding a place for a shriekmaw since it's tutor-able. Anyone else come across this problem?
