I want to try out a new idea where each day I pick a random card of the day. It's no secret that johnnies and casual players like to try making bad cards work. So, once a day I will pick a random card from gatherer, then I will list it in this thread and in the casual forum. Then everyone can post responses with cards or decklists that go well with the card of the day.
If you have any questions or comments about this idea, feel free to respond.
The card that I picked for today is a tough one to make work. It is the dreaded Clay Statue.
Real life just isn't conducive to moderating for me right now. I really love this site, especially this forum. The rest of Sally doesn't know what it's missing here.
Thank you for being a cinch to moderate. I appreciate the cooperation of everyone here, and I leave the forum in the capable hands of BlackVise and ThatRedwood.
I'll see you around, but I won't be able to hand out any infractions to any of you.
Etherium Sculptor + Sol Ring = Cheap as Free.
I actually don't think that Clay Statue is that bad of a card.
But I still get to keep the cool purple italics in my custom title....:D
Haven't seen you 'round these parts in a while!

I agree 100%.
Also....
I don't get it.
The only requirement is that you want to do it.
Go for it! If you can start immediately, this round could use a judge.
There are other servers, and I want to iterate that time commitment was the major issue.
While the issue with Cockatrice certainly made it difficult to test in a more timely manner, RL is the major reason.
They can no longer commit to judging.
You are AWESOME.
Thank you.
We can't finish CDCC 6 because we need judges.
Round 3 is currently in need of people to finish the judging. The contest is planned for another three rounds before it is concluded.
If you participate in the contests, you can still judge--you just can't judge your own deck.
Please post ITT or PM me if you'd like to help us out of a jam.
It would....if you could judge this round's submissions (minus your own, or course), that would definitely help.
Unless we can find other judges, looks like we're done. It's not like anyone was rushing to volunteer for judging, though.
I disagree. People are working together nicely on this; that's what GMAD is supposed to do.
That being said, keep the tone friendly or don't participate in GMAD.
