MTG Salvation

I opened a case last night and I only got 20 mythics one box had 0 and another box had 2 then it was 5 , 5 , 4 , 4. There was three different rares that I only got one of each. I was highly upset with my case and I will be emailing wizards and letting them know how I feel (not that it will do any good) but I am very very unhappy with spending $500+ to get 3 one of rares. but I did get 8 stolen goods and 7 spirit aways

I would love to see Korlash, Heir to Blackblade and more cards with the Grandeur ability

arent they going to be too thick with both sides foiled

How is this going to work are both sides going to be foil? or just one side? If both sides are foiled isn't that going to make the card extra "thick"/ "heavy" sorry if this is not the right place.

I get out a vengevine out early followed by a kor firewalker and just started putting more threats out then he could handle.

Dominated... Choking fume's FTW only match that I swept my opponent all day.

last round before the cut (small turnout) we take the I.D. to secure our spots.

2 other people I came with top 8'd and low and behold who do I have to play the same guy from round 3 we sat down and I pull out my deck and started to shuffle he sits down and asks me "If you win will you go?" Me: "hell yes I'm going" Him "Congrats you win... I can't go" Me: "Awesome".

V.S. G/W Quest

Game 1: he lands Double Quest and puts all kinds of counters on them G.G.
Game 2: This game took forever because he sided out the Quest because he assumed that I would side in a bunch of hate... I didn't becuase I don't have it. I ended up just over powering him.
Game 3: I draw one of those awesome God hands where I get 2 Vengevines out on turn 3 and it was just too fast for him.

Game 1: I let this game go longer then I should (Thun+Collar+Sword< 1/1 bird tokens from Emeria Angel have out of pure desperation but eventually scooped and go to Game 2

Can't remember what I sideded out but I do know I sided in the Tumble magnets and I think the other sword

I absolutely love the draws we can get off of this deck it is just silly some times. game 2 last about 5min and because he bonced a sword instead of the hero and I bash and put out 2 soldiers and win he then realizes his mistake and we go to game 3

Game 3 YES!!!!! God Hand this game last about 3min as I just play vengevine after vengevine and tumble magnets to tap his dudes and we shake hands.

Well I think I had it pretty lucky Sat. but at the same time I was behind all day with losing every 1st game all day so it was a fight to the top I did Catch some big breaks but It was mentally exhusting. I think this deck has to be one of the best decks I have played in a long time. I hope it does just as well for you to if you feel like playing it.

Notes, I did miss the red at times but at the same time I was glad I didn't have the red cause the deck was just so consistant and the naya build I think has a if'y mana base, but thats just my 2 cents.

Gilded Lotus, although it has a ton of power even for a 5 cost, was printed in the original Mirrodin block.
I've also seen articles saying that Wizards wants to corrupt the iconic things about the original Mirrodin block (see Blightsteel Collolsus, Inkmoth, Glissa etc.). Seems likely they could warp Gilded Lotus into something awesome for Phyrexia.

If we were to go that route how about somthing like

Unless it taps for a colored mana I don't see that being used at all because paying 2 life for a colorless is bad let alone paying a colorless for a colorless

so you would have max 4 mana on your first turn (2 of which you can only spend on the phybrid mana) but you would be down to 3 cards in hand and have lost 4 life or ... you tap the land play tainted mox, tap tainted mox to play tainted mox, then play mox opal so now you have 2 mana (1 that can be spent only on phybrid mana) on your first turn and still at 20 and still with only 3 cards in your hand. Not that great if you ask me baring the fact we haven't seen the entire set realesed so we haven't seen all the cards with the phybrid mana so we don't know really what could be played. So come on back from Magical Christmas land and see that this could be viable.

I didn't know if this should be in Speculation or if it should be in custom card creation so if not in the right spot mods please move. but any way, What would be the chances of them possibly printing a "tainted" mox in NPH something like


to me It doesn't seem to overpowered because you can only use it for certain cards that have to have phyrexian mana. Personally I also believe that it would help alot of people that want to play/splash those cards and dont want to have to worry if they are spending to much life. Discuss
