Any Mtg-artists interested in drawing a parody picture for a playmat, or know a good site to request one/place a commission?

A friend of mine has a parody playmat of Breaking Bad, and it kind of has me wanting to get one done. (not of breaking bad, but of an original idea I have but just aren't talented enough to create)

Robertroid - more Mutavaults. And Domri doesn't work.

I only own the one vault, and Domri worked great in my previous experience, so I intend to test him as a 4 of.

I've had abrupt decays in my main for awhile now, and have never wanted to cut them. It's one of the best spells in the format. Kills pack rat before it can get online, kills nightveil and ashiok, kills underworld, kills courser. There isn't a deck in the format where it doens't have a target so I'm all for that card myself. I have negates in the board, but really they're just for messing with the control match ups which is already in my favor.

    4 Sliver Hive
    4 Mana Confluence
    4 Stomping Ground
    4 Breeding Pool
    4 Temple of Mystery
    3 Temple of Epiphany
    1 Mutavault

    4 Domri Rade
    2 Chord of Calling

    3 Striking Sliver
    4 Galerider Sliver
    2 Venom Sliver
    2 Leeching Sliver
    4 Predatory Sliver
    4 Manaweft Sliver
    4 Diffusion Sliver
    3 Blur Sliver
    1 Bonescythe Sliver
    2 Sliver Hivelord
    1 Megantic Sliver

Crude draft of what I intend to start with at FNM, the mana is terrible though, and I have to figure out how many temples I want, and also how many black lands for sb golgari charms (because screw verdict decks), anywho all comments/suggestions welcome.

And I'm fairly certain that if they kill the constricting sliver instead of the other sliver, that the exiled creature stays gone forever because it lost the text.

Yes Leeching Sliver stacks, it's a static ability and so can be layerd. If you have two of them, whenever a sliver you control attacks, the Leeching slivers activate for each one, so you'll have 2 stacks of leech ability per attacking sliver.

I like your creature base, though I'm not sure about so many spells. Simic charm seems interesting though, that card never gets enough attention.

I absolutely cannot understand why you dislike diffusion sliver, the format is wrought with removal, and your opponent will ALWAYS remove the best sliver you have for the situation to keep themselves ahead of you, because this is what always happened to me when I was playing the sliver deck after m14. Oh you want to fly? Nope kill gale, oh you want to play predators? Kill them before they stack. Protection against spot removal is an absolutely baller creature ability to pass on to all your guys. Especially when your slivers are all mana sources or lords themselves. Diffusion slivers effect was pretty much the one ability I was always missing and I cannot wait to smash games off D Slivers fine little set of hips. Hivelord is also fantastic, and I can't wait to pick up 2 to jam with my others.

Personally I'm not a fan of Bonescythe, it's just clunky, and i'd rather just play sliver that give actual stats. What's the point in bonescythe if I can just power out Megantics and crush. The white slivers are just abysmal in my opinion and I'd avoid them like the plague. RUG seems like the best color pie to me for standard slivers, leeching sliver is weird to me. I want that effect, but not at that time in the game, like you can't just cast it turn 2 and get anything. To me he seems more like a 2 of you drop at the last turn to help end it, like a secret copy of predatory sliver to boost all your guys by 1.

Addition: I played straight r/g back then by the way, I was pure aggro/synergy with Domris to find more slivers and it was decent, sometimes you'd just manaweft into megantics so fast people didn't know what was happening, or you'd play predator after predator and murder them with giant dorks. Personally the weakest slivers I always felt were the ones who stacked a static ability that didn't matter when stacked, a bunch of Striking Slivers aren't really that good, so I'm also leaning towards playing few Venom slivers, I want death touch, but I only really want one instance of it. I feel like at max it should be a 3 of, probably even a 2 of with sideboard ones for when you come up against creature heavy decks.

As Ross talks about in the article, Thorncaster Sliver is insanely powerful with Venom Sliver on the board. Thorncaster is very powerful if you have three or more slivers ready to attack when you cast it.

I just doubt you're often going to be able to assemble that engine and swing with it, not to mention that combo does nothing against control matchups which are prevalent in the meta. I'd rather be efficiently swarming with good slivers or rushing hivelords into play. And I've even played with Thorncaster before, he's cute but 5 mana for that effect is just not worth it when I can have indestructibility instead.

Diffusion Sliver is literally one of the best slivers printed.

Toms Ross threw this up on Starcity, I think I'm going to start with it and work up since cards like the Obelisk and 4 of Thorncaster seems terrible.
    Creatures (32)

    3 Blur Sliver
    4 Diffusion Sliver
    4 Galerider Sliver
    4 Manaweft Sliver
    4 Predatory Sliver
    4 Striking Sliver
    4 Thorncaster Sliver
    4 Venom Sliver
    1 Sliver Hivelord
    Lands (24)

    1 Forest
    4 Breeding Pool
    3 Mana Confluence
    4 Mutavault
    4 Sliver Hive
    4 Steam Vents
    4 Stomping Ground
    Spells (4)

    1 Obelisk of Urd
    3 Chord of Calling

I'm actually liking Leeching Sliver. It's like a mini Hellrider

I do too, don't get me wrong. But this style of card is weak where leech is on the mana curve. Casting a Leech sliver turns 2-3 is actually very lackluster against alot of the other turn 2 plays in the format. That's why I'd avoid running 4 of him, I'd much rather be casting Manaweft, Predator, or Diffusion on those turns. Leech on turn 4, like Hellrider after you've put guys on board each turn? Baller as heck.

Obelisk of Urd is a bad card, Door of Destinies is a bad card. If you want something to beef up slivers that isn't a sliver itself you'd play Dictate of Heliod.

And just because you can play all 5 colors of slivers doesn't mean you should, the white slivers especially are weak. Sentinel Sliver is just bad, and Bonescythe is too expensive to run multiples of when his effect doesn't stack. The best colors for slivers are R/U/G when M15 drops, so you'd want to focus there like I intend to. Galerider, Predator, Diffusion, Blur, Belligerent, these are all really good slivers you always want one or more of. Venom is fine, but they don't stack so if you're playing a bunch of them you end up playing 1/1's for 2 mana and that's bad. Leeching is also excellent, but you don't just want a bunch of him either because he's actually weak, you want to drop that guy to finish the game with a bunch of other slivers on board.

Thorncaster while a good effect is again too expensive to play a bunch of, my plan once m15 is live is to jam a low curve, synergy aggro list of R/U/G slivers with Domri's to help find stuff.

Not playing 4 verdicts seems very very not correct to me.

Slaughter Games cannot name Maze's End, it only names nonland cards lol. And I main deck Abrupt Decays, Pithing needle has never been an issue for my list.

As for Ashiok, it's so rare that I've never been worried about it.

Oh... Right... It can't >.< I keep thinking about things like Surgical Extraction, Sadistic Sacrament, Extirpate, Lobotomy, Earwig Squad... Oh and Sowing Salt!

God, I'd do anything to have efficient land destruct back in Standard. It's been too long :p

No thanks, I like land destruction being out of my maze format :p
